Guess what? This is my 100th blog post! I didn’t realise until I started typing this up so I didn’t do anything specific for it, but I do love today’s nails 😀 You probably know by now that I love silver and blue together so I decided to use them for a fun skittlette combining stamping, glitter and texture. Today I have another ILNP post for you. This polish was one of the reasons that I decided to take the plunge and buy from ILNP in the first place – it’s a limited edition, only available as a gift if you ordered at least 3 polishes from the collection during the pre-order. Now, I’m not all that into polishes being limited edition or hard to find – but a free, gorgeous polish added to my order? That’s what sold me. (more…)
When I recently visited my family over Christmas, my sister asked me to do her nails. Since she loved my water marbles the most of everything she’s seen on my blog, she asked for a water marble. This was the first time I ever did someone else’s nails, so it was a little challenging, but fun!(more…)
Today I have my second Ultrachrome from I Love Nail Polish to show you! I showed the first one, Birefringence (H), here. Today I am showing you Mutagen. Be warned, this post is picture heavy, because this polish is so stunning that I just couldn’t stop!
I’m sure many of you have seen swatches of I Love Nail Polish’s gorgeous Ultrachrome range. These polishes were on the TOP of my lemming list since the first time I saw them. When it was announced that they were bringing out holographic versions of the polish – and you could get a free limited edition polish if you bought them in the preorder – I could no longer resist. So, I got my very first indie/boutique polishes and I got my biggest lemming! I can’t wait to show you!
Today, I have Birefringence (H). I’ve done a separate post for each of the 5 polishes I got just because they are all beyond gorgeous and need a lot of pictures to do them justice! So look out for the rest in the next couple of weeks 🙂 This post is a bit more picture heavy than usual but it’s worth it!
Happy, happy new year to all of you! Thank you so much to all of you that have followed, commented, or just visited my blog since I started it just over 4 months ago. It has already become such a part of my life, it’s hard to believe it’s only 4 months old!
For Christmas, I was lucky to receive some nail polish from my sister. She got me a Grazia set (available at Clicks) consisting of 2 nail polishes, and 2 sets of ‘caviar’ or microbeads. This look has been around for a while – and I’ve done it before myself using microbeads – but it’s my first set of this kind. What better to play around with for my new years mani? Here’s how the box looked:
