Hi everyone!
I’ve been dying to use my Graffiti glitter from Nails Inc again for ages, so I finally did it and I combined it with some stamping. (more…)

Hi everyone!
Today’s nails were originally intended for last month’s tri-polish challenge, but then I got a bit sick and didn’t get a chance to do the other manis for it, so I just saved them up for a normal post 🙂
Hi everyone!
In case you’re wondering why I would do an autumny mani when here in South Africa it’s summer, well, I didn’t plan it that way! I just picked out some colours I thought would go well together and only once I was finished did I realise they were a pretty autumny combination 🙂 So for those of you in the Northern hemisphere – enjoy this as an end-of-autumn water marble! Hi everyone!
Today’s nails are based on one of the first stamping manicures I ever did a few months ago. I took pictures of it but I didn’t clean up around my nails, and the photos were pretty awful so for ages I’ve been meaning to recreate the nails and I finally got around to it. They’re simple but I love them! (more…)
Hi everyone!
Another Monday, another tape mani. This is a bit different to previous tape manis I’ve posted because it used neither striping tape nor cellotape! I used hole reinforcers to create half moon nails. It’s still a form of tape!
Hi everyone!
Today I have a water marble for you! It’s been too long since I’ve posted a water marble, since I love water marbles even though I’m still no expert! Today’s one is really bright and fun 🙂 (more…)
Hi ladies!
It’s the final set of Tribal Texture swatches! All these polishes are available from the Born Pretty Store and were bought by me.
As I mentioned in the previous posts, part one and part two, I had some formula issues with some of these polishes. Well, the issues were the WORST with the ones I’m showing today. However, because they were textured polishes, I found I could handle it without getting too frustrated. They were really thick – the worst was number 12. There was a little polish around the lid, so I suspect it wasn’t sealed quite properly during transit and it was completely unusable. The good news is, after just a few drops of thinner, everything was fine and it applied well. So don’t let the formula put you off if you like the colours – nothing a little thinner can’t solve!
I’ll start off with number 10 – a brown texture. (more…)
Hi everyone!
I did a guest post over at Glitterfists! I loved my creation so please go check it out over here 🙂
Enjoy!
Hi everyone!
Today I have some fun nails for you that I have dubbed my Milky Way nails. I did nail art that was similar to this a few times when I first started getting into nail art, and it was a big hit with Mr Boyfriend – he was actually the one who mentioned it looked like the Milky Way! I’ve made a few changes to those original ones but I figured it was finally time for my Milky Way nails to get onto my blog 🙂 (more…)
Hi everyone!
Today I have the next four Tribal texture polishes from the Born Pretty Store swatched for you. The first four I did – a white, pink, gold, and green – can be found here.
Just a note on the formula of these. I mentioned it in the previous post already, but these polishes are much slower-drying than other textures you may be used to. The dark blue I am showing today was particularly slow-drying. I mean, it could be dented for hours after application. Luckily this isn’t as noticeable with a textured polish but it’s definitely annoying, so I wouldn’t recommend using these when you’re in a hurry.
The first one for today is a pale blue, Tribal texture number 14.
