Spiderweb Stamping

Hi everyone!
More Halloween nail art! Today I’ve done some stamped spiderwebs. I didn’t love these as much as the other Halloween nail art I’ve done this year, but I thought they were still worth sharing. (more…)

Hi everyone!
Another year’s 31 Day Challenge is over. The end of a challenge can be a little anticlimactic. We’ve done all of this work and all of these beautiful nail designs and it’s just over, seemingly never to be seen again! I really felt like I challenged myself and did some of my best nail art this challenge, so I decided to share it with you one more time in a challenge roundup. Just click on any of the pictures to be taken to the full post if you missed any of these! (more…)
Hi everyone!
It’s the final day of the 31 Day Challenge! Can you believe it? I’m so glad that I’ve made it through this year’s challenge, and congratulations to everyone else who took part! The final theme is ‘honour nails you love’. I really enjoy this theme, because I love doing nail art inspired by others. There are so many fantastic nail bloggers, and when I see nails I love it’s hard not to recreate them. I often go to others when I’m in need of inspiration, too. If I can’t decide what to do on my nails, I’ll head to my Pinterest boards or catch up on my blog reading and see if it gives me any ideas. One of the nail artists who inspires me the most is Narmai of Piggieluv. She has incredible freehand nail art skills and comes up with the best, and often the craziest (in a good way!) ideas. So, it was only natural that I recreate one of her nail art looks for the final day of the challenge and I decided to go with some freehand landscape nails. (more…)
Hi everyone!
It’s the second last day of the 31 Day Challenge! I’ve actually already done my nails for tomorrow so I’m officially finished and these were the last nails I did. Today’s theme is inspired by a tutorial. You probably know by now that I enjoy recreating other nail art looks I love, but not everyone does tutorials. I had to search a little to find a tutorial that fit my freehand criteria for the challenge. In the end I picked a water drops tutorial by Starrynail. This is the second look by her I’ve recreated this challenge (the first was my Game of Thrones look) – she just does such amazing freehand art! (more…)
Hi everyone!
Today’s theme in the 31 Day Challenge is ‘inspired by the supernatural’. This year, I decided to go for some simple cute ghosts. (more…)
Hi everyone!
Today’s theme for the 31 Day Challenge is ‘inspired by a flag’. This has never been a very popular theme of the challenge; to me it seems oddly specific compared to most of the other themes. The American flag is usually popular, firstly since so many bloggers are from the US and secondly because the vibrant colours and the stars and stripes both lend themselves to nail art. I’ve never gone in that direction before, until today! (more…)
Hi everyone!
Today’s theme in the 31 Day Challenge is inspired by an artwork. I decided to recreate van Gogh’s Starry Starry Night. (more…)
Hi everyone!
Today’s theme in the 31 Day Challenge is ‘inspired by a pattern’. I decided to finally recreate this manicure by Lucy’s Stash that I loved way back when she did it. It’s sort of several different patterns that come together to form one main pattern. (more…)
Hi everyone!
Today’s theme in the 31 Day Challenge is inspired by fashion. I only just got this one done in time for today! A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I were shopping for some much-needed jeans when he noticed a beautifully embroidered floral denim jacket at Alpaca Connection. It was gorgeous and completely my style so he ended up buying it for me. I decided to do today’s nails inspired by the jacket. (more…)
Hi everyone!
Today’s theme in the 31 Day Challenge is ‘inspired by a book’. I decided to go with one of my favourites, Game of Thrones! A lot of you probably know it from the TV series – which I also enjoy – but I have read all the books so far as well. (more…)
