Guest Post: Kristi from BeginNails

Hi everyone!

Since I am currently TAing a field camp in Northern Minnesota, I’ve decided to enlist the help of a few of my favourite fellow nail bloggers with some guest posts here on Painted Fingertips. Today I have a guest post from the lovely Kristi of BeginNails. Kristi is a part of the Digital Dozen group with me and does some really cool nail art – go check out her blog and give her a follow if you don’t already follow her!

Greetings and Nailutations,

I’m Kristi from BeginNails and I’ll be guest posting for Kerry today while she is up exploring northern Minnesota.  I was honored that she asked me to guest post and quickly said yes!  Now lets get into the good stuff!

Products used:
Ever After Polish – Spectre Flair
Ribbit’s Stickits – Cuticle Cover
LINA Nail Art Supplies – Feeling Shapely 02 Plate
Clear Jelly Stamper – Big Bling Stamper
Glisten and Glow – HK Girl Top Coat
Drip Drop Nail Paints – Yoga Pants
It Girl Nail Art – Coral

I started with a 3 coat base of Spectre Flair to get complete opacity.  I topped it with HK Girl Top Coat and made sure that was dry before continuing with my stamping.  I protected my skin with Cuticle Cover and I decided to do a mix of stamping with Coral and Yoga Pants with the Shapely 02 Plate.

I rarely do manis that mix and match images and I always love how they turn out.  I hope you did too!

I hope you are enjoying your explorations Kerry!

Happy Polishing,
Kristi aka BeginNails

Don’t her nails look lovely? I’m loving the pink, black and silver colour combination!
Don’t forget to go show Kristi some love on her blog and social media! Here are some links where you can take a look at more of her work and give her a follow:

Guest Post: Manna’s Manis

Hi everyone! I have another guest post to share with you today and this time we’re welcoming Manna from Manna’s Manis! If you don’t know her blog, you need to check it out for some stunning nail art and swatches.

Hey everyone! Kerry was kind enough to ask me to participate in her guest post feature a while back. I was supposed to take April but I got busy and totally flaked, I’m sorry! I’m going to share a mani I created using 2 purple polishes from The Color Box and vinyls from Twinkled T!

Guest Post: Lothwen from Manis & Makeovers

Hi everyone!
I’m excited to share a guest post with you today from one of my favourite bloggers, Lothwen from Manis and Makeovers. Lothwen’s nails always look beautiful and her stamping skills are incredible. Let’s take a look at what she has to share:

Hi lovelies!
I’m Lothwen from Manis & Makeovers and today I have the honour of guest posting on Kerry’s blog! I was very excited when she asked me; Kerry’s nail art is always awesome and she is amazing at freehanding! I haven’t had much practice freehanding lately, so I decided to do some double stamping for this post.
I started with a base of W7 Pistachio, a beautiful turquoise creme. Then I stamped with BP-L015 and Konad gold stamping polish. I repeated the stamping with the same image and black, albeit flipping the image upside-down. Then I slapped on some Seche Vite and done! I was aiming for a sort of turquoise stone effect, but with an image instead of randomness. I’m not a 100% content (actually far from it; the turquoise is too minty-green and the gold is too  subtle, so it does not have the intended effect), but I still really like this mani, I enjoyed wearing it for two days!

Guest Post: For the Love of Nail Art

Hi everyone!

I am excited to share another guest post with you today. This one is from Siobhan of For the Love of Nail Art. Siobhan is a good ‘blogging friend’ of mine and we enjoy sharing our love of nail art (and pictures of our adorable cats!) Today she has come up with something perfect for a cute Valentine’s Day nail look!

Kerry asked me some time ago to guest for her and I said yes, all amped and excited… Then I found nothing good that I wanted to do for her, then work started and other engagements so I didn’t get chance to look again. I found this manicure a few days ago and when I saw it, I KNEW it was what I wanted to do for her.

It is inspired by @zunonails  and her manicure is beyond perfect to me! Here’s my recreation:Painted Fingertips | For the Love of Nail Art - Valentine's Guest Post
