Halloween is almost here, can you believe it? I’ve done a couple of Halloween nail art looks and I can’t wait to share them with you! You may already have noticed some Halloween-themed stamping in the Moonflower Polish Gemstones Collection post I shared last week. Today’s look is some very simple stamping, but it works so well.

Today I have five glorious holographic stamping polishes to share with you! These are from the Gemstones Collection part 1 from Moonflower Polish. I was so excited to try these as I think holographic stamping polishes look amazing! This collection consists of a gold, silver, black, purple, and turquoise, all of which stamp beautifully. I’ll start things off with the purple, Amatista.
It’s almost time for another round of Polish Pickup! I feel like I’m still recovering from Polish Con (and I’ll have a post up with lots of pictures from the day soon), but it’s already time to prepare for more Polish Pickup beauties.
The Polish Pickup shop will be open 5-8 October. The theme for the month of October is villains. Moonflower Polish has come up with a stunning blue stamping-friendly polish called The Grand Admiral.
I have a fun post today: my namesake polish, silver stamping, and some hidden bling! The moment I put Supermoon Painted Fingertips on my nails, I remembered this post on Lucy’s Stash. The post is from years ago, when I had just started my own blog, but somehow it stayed with me. And somehow, Painted Fingertips seemed like the perfect polish to try my own hidden bling look with. On Wednesday, Painted Fingertips is turning 5! Over the past 3 years, for each blog birthday, I’ve shared my top 10 nail art looks from the preceding year to celebrate my blogging anniversary. This year, I have something else to celebrate the actual day. I’ll give you a hint – it involves 5 very special polishes, and a giveaway, so be sure to check back then! I still wanted to share my top 10 looks from the past year as well – and it seems appropriate to have a little more celebration after 5 years of blogging. On my first blogging anniversary, I shared how I had improved in one year. After that, to celebrate two years, three years, and four years, I shared my top 10 looks from the preceding year. I always enjoy looking back on those posts!
It’s become a bit of a tradition to include a little life update each year in this post, so if you’re only here for nails, scroll down to see my top 10! (more…)
It’s the final day of The Digital Dozen does tropical! Digital Dozen weeks always just fly by. I’ve really enjoyed this theme; so far this week, I’ve shared pineapple nails, a tropical floral, a neon sunset, and a watermelon water marble. I decided to finish the look off with some flamingo nail art. Flamingos have been a really popular subject this week, I think about 4 or 5 of the other Digital Dozen ladies have already done flamingo looks. They really are perfect for the theme, and with their unique pink colour and interesting shapes they are ideal for nail art. (more…)
It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen’s tropical week, and it’s also Water Marble Wednesday! So far this week, I’ve shared a tropical floral look and some pineapple nails. I stuck with the tropical fruits today with a watermelon water marble. I’m glad I figured out a way to do a water marble for the tropical theme, it’s always fun to figure out ways to make water marbles work for a specific theme. I’ve seen several other watermelon water marbles before but it’s the first time I’ve tried to do a watermelon. (more…)
