Supermoon Lacquer Triangulum

Painted Fingertips | Supermoon Lacquer Triangulum

Hi everyone!

I don’t know how I haven’t shared swatches of Supermoon Lacquer Triangulum until now, I truly don’t. This was an exclusive polish for Black Friday 2016, so almost 2 years ago. If I remember correctly, it was a gift with purchase to the first 20 people to buy above a certain amount during the sale. I was lucky to get it back then and I’ve always liked it – but for some reason it took me ages to properly swatch it, and once I did, I didn’t get around to posting my swatches for even longer. That turns out to be convenient, since Triangulum is available again right now! This is likely the only time you’ll ever be able to purchase it, since it is a part of Supermoon’s 2nd birthday celebration and is now available on their site. All the details on the sale along with some discount codes are listed in the Facebook fan group. (more…)

Supermoon Lacquer | The Chosen Collection

Painted Fingertips | Swatch - Supermoon Lacquer Fight Your Demons

Hi everyone!

I have a first on here on Painted fingertips today – I am sharing redone swatches of Supermoon’s The Chosen Collection, although I have already shared swatches of these before, back in 2016. The reason for this is that Supermoon Lacquer is having a huge 2-year anniversary celebration right now. As part of the celebration, all polishes from previous collections are available, including some retired shades. There are also several exclusives that are available during the sale, and if you join the Facebook fan group there are some discount codes available. Mardi, the maker behind Supermoon Lacquer, asked if I could reswatch these for her since I’ve upgraded my camera in the meantime, and I could do a better job or capturing their beauty.

Supermoon Lacquer is known for their great formulas and opaque polishes, and these are no exception. All swatches are 2 coats with top coat, and all have a fantastic formula. (more…)

Moonflower Polish | Summer Neons

Hi everyone!

Summer is in full swing in the northern hemisphere, and with it, lots of bright neons! While I wear whatever polish I feel like in all seasons, there’s something summery about bright shades. Moonflower Polish has come out with a set of 8 bright shimmery neons that can be used for stamping or worn on their own. Today I have 4 of the 8 to share with you. This is a picture-heavy post since I have pictures of each polish on its own, over black and white, and stamped in a nail art look that shows one way I’d personally wear these, so get ready for lots of photos and enjoy 🙂 (more…)

Hi everyone!

Today I have a review and lots of pictures to share with you of an aurora nail powder from Born Pretty Store. I’ve tried a few powder products by now, in holo, chrome, and multichrome, and it’s always fun to see the transformation as you apply these to the nail! They also have plenty of nail art applications – remember my over-the-top metal-dipped fingers? Today’s powder has a gorgeous shift and interesting character over both dark and light bases. (more…)

Dragon Scale Diamond Glitter

Painted Fingertips | Dragon scale glitter placement

Some items in this post were provided for honest review. This post contains affiliate links.

Hi everyone!

Have you realised by now that I like dragons? Your first hint was over 3 years ago when I posted freehand dragon nail art for the first time. After that, it was a while before I returned to my favourite mythical creature, but I eventually got back to it with some Game of Thrones inspired dragons. Since then, I’ve also done not one, but two dragon eye looks, and another freehand dragon.

Today, I’ve done some dragon scale-esque glitter placement. (more…)
