Today’s Polish Con post is all about Native War Paints. If you’re attending Polish Con next weekend or plan on having someone pick up a few shades for you, you should also check out my posts for Fair Maiden, Tonic, Sassy Sauce, Bee’s Knees, Blush, and KBShimmer. Today I am sharing no less than 6 different limited edition shades from Native War Paints. All of these will be available at Polish Con at discounted prices, and then will be available online at a later stage. Two of the shades will also be included in some VIP bags.
Let’s start off with the two VIP shades. First up is Niizh. (more…)

I am getting in another quick post before bed tonight. In case you missed it, I shared the Blush Lacquers Polish Con exclusive and LE shades earlier today. I have just one polish in tonight’s post, Tonic First Kiss. This is the VIP shade for Polish Con, and will also be available for purchase at the show and potentially online later on if there is stock remaining. (more…)

I’m back with my next Polish Con post. So far I have shared the exclusive and VIP shades from Fair Maiden, Bee’s Knees, KBShimmer, and Sassy Sauce polish with you. Today I have 4 polishes from Blush Lacquer, including an exclusive, 2 limited editions, and a gift with purchase shade. The theme for all four shades is “glamping in Minnesota”, inspired by the wilderness and wildlife of this beautiful state. Let’s start off with the show exclusive: (more…)

Today I have swatches of the Polish Con exclusive and VIP polishes from Fair Maiden. With Polish Con coming up here in Minneapolis later this month, I’m excited to see some local Minnesota brands like Fair Maiden at the event! (more…)

As I mentioned in my annual roundup post with my top 10 nail art looks from the past year, I am one of the official bloggers for September’s Polish Con. This Polish Con will be taking place here in Minneapolis, and I am so excited that I will be able to attend! I hope I will be able to meet some of you, and of course take lots of pictures and enjoy myself. As an official blogger for the Con, I will be sharing many of the VIP and exclusive polishes for the event with you over the next couple of weeks.
If you see some polishes you can’t pass up, but you also know you can’t attend the event, I recommend joining the Polish Con Facebook group to find out how you can take advantage of the new fairy service. While there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to get a product that is limited, you will at least be able to request those you are interested in.
On to the polish! I am going to do my best to share the VIP and exclusive polishes for each brand in their own post. With only 2 weeks to go until Polish Con, posts about my 5 year celebration giveaway still going up, and a Digital Dozen week on its way, that is going to mean 2 posts most days for the next 2 weeks. That’s a much busier posting schedule than I usually stick to but I will do my best so that you can see all of these beauties! Today, I am starting off with Sassy Sauce Polish. (more…)
I don’t know how I haven’t shared swatches of Supermoon Lacquer Triangulum until now, I truly don’t. This was an exclusive polish for Black Friday 2016, so almost 2 years ago. If I remember correctly, it was a gift with purchase to the first 20 people to buy above a certain amount during the sale. I was lucky to get it back then and I’ve always liked it – but for some reason it took me ages to properly swatch it, and once I did, I didn’t get around to posting my swatches for even longer. That turns out to be convenient, since Triangulum is available again right now! This is likely the only time you’ll ever be able to purchase it, since it is a part of Supermoon’s 2nd birthday celebration and is now available on their site. All the details on the sale along with some discount codes are listed in the Facebook fan group. (more…)
I have a first on here on Painted fingertips today – I am sharing redone swatches of Supermoon’s The Chosen Collection, although I have already shared swatches of these before, back in 2016. The reason for this is that Supermoon Lacquer is having a huge 2-year anniversary celebration right now. As part of the celebration, all polishes from previous collections are available, including some retired shades. There are also several exclusives that are available during the sale, and if you join the Facebook fan group there are some discount codes available. Mardi, the maker behind Supermoon Lacquer, asked if I could reswatch these for her since I’ve upgraded my camera in the meantime, and I could do a better job or capturing their beauty.
Supermoon Lacquer is known for their great formulas and opaque polishes, and these are no exception. All swatches are 2 coats with top coat, and all have a fantastic formula. (more…)
Summer is in full swing in the northern hemisphere, and with it, lots of bright neons! While I wear whatever polish I feel like in all seasons, there’s something summery about bright shades. Moonflower Polish has come out with a set of 8 bright shimmery neons that can be used for stamping or worn on their own. Today I have 4 of the 8 to share with you. This is a picture-heavy post since I have pictures of each polish on its own, over black and white, and stamped in a nail art look that shows one way I’d personally wear these, so get ready for lots of photos and enjoy 🙂 (more…)
I recently received the Chic Voxbox from Influenster and it had a few fun products I’d like to share with you. If you’re not familiar with Influenster, it’s a platform that works with brands and anyone that signs up to send out samples in exchange for reviews. Anyone can sign up for Influenster and based on your social reach as well as reviews you post and questions you answer, you may qualify for sample boxes. (more…)
Have you heard about Music City Beauty? If not, maybe you’re familiar with Smokey Mountain Lacquer. Smokey Mountain is rebranding to Music City Beauty to reflect the maker behind the brand, Kim’s new home in Nashville. To launch the new brand, she’s starting off with a set of 6 vibrant neon cremes. This is the Risqué Collection, and it each polish has a suggestive name to match the theme. (more…)
