Water Marble Wednesday: Polish ‘M Water Marble

Hi everyone!

As promised, I’ve got another installment of Water Marble Wednesday to share with you today. I’ve used three of the polishes from the Polish ‘M Christmas collection, some of which I showed you earlier this week, to create a bright and fun marble. The Digital Dozen Does Black: Water Marble

Hi everyone!

It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen Does Black! So far I’ve shared two stamped looks exploiting the contrast between glossy and matte – one with pink accents, and the other with gold. Today I’m finally steering away from the stamping. I enjoyed the milky coffee water marble I did last week so much that I’ve decided to bring Water Marble Wednesday back for a while! I won’t be committing to posting a marble every single Wednesday, but I do have a couple lined up and ideas for a few more 🙂 I’m starting it off today with a black and clear water marble over a neon gradient.

Water Marble Wednesday – Milky Coffee

Hi everyone!

It’s been ages since I’ve done a Water Marble Wednesday post! Honestly, I just happened to do a water marble, so why not share it on a Wednesday? 🙂
Ever since I got some new Zoyas a few months ago, I’ve been wanting to use them in water marbles. In fact, I already did my bright 60s water marble a couple of weeks ago with some of them. I couldn’t get the brown and the nude I’d bought out of my head though… wouldn’t these be perfect for some coffee-inspired marbling? Painted Fingertips | Milky Coffee Water Marble (more…)

Cobalt and Peach Water Marble

Hi everyone!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday! You might remember me mentioning a couple of times that I’m taking part in a weekly nail art challenge on Instagram this month. I’m cheating a little on this one by blogging these nails a bit earlier than the Instagram challenge – these are the nails for next Friday but I needed a good water marble for today!

Water Marble Wednesday: Zigzags over a marble

Hi everyone!

If any of you are wondering about what got me into blogging, my favourite and least favourite nail looks, and other fun questions, Ordinary Misfit interviewed me on her blog and you can check it out here.

I haven’t done a Water Marble Wednesday in a few weeks, but I’m back with a marble and this time I have used a water marble as a base for some zigzag nail art. Painted Fingertips | Chevrons over a water marble (more…)

Water Marble Wednesday: Green, blue and purple

Hi everyone!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday! For today’s marble I had a totally different marble pattern in mind, but I just couldn’t get it to work. After a while I tried this instead and I still like the outcome! Painted Fingertips | Green, blue and purple water marble (more…)

Water Marble Wednesday: Rainy Days

Hi everyone!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday! The past few weeks I’ve been struggling to come up with unique ideas for my water marbles. The other day I was brainstorming ideas of what real-life things might look like a water marble (think my woodgrain water marble from a while back). Well, the weather we’ve been having lately gave me the idea I needed! It’s winter here and that means a lot of rainy days. I figured rain can be artistically represented with flowing lines, so all I needed was the right colour scheme:Painted Fingertips | Rainy Day Water Marble (more…)

Water Marble Wednesday: Mixed Patterns

Hi everyone!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday! When I was planning this marble, I couldn’t decide if I wanted to do stripes or petals for the marble pattern, so in the end I decided to do both. I really liked how the two patterns looked together, and the brightness of the colours I used. Painted Fingertips | Mixed patterns water marble (more…)
