I can’t believe it’s already Monday! This weekend went by far too fast. There’s just not enough time to get everything done! I hope that you enjoyed my drip marble theme week last week, I had a lot of fun with it and now we are back to regular programming.
At least I can brighten this Monday a little with some swatches of a gorgeous polish. Today I am sharing my pictures of Fair Maiden Cosmic Confection, which is their contribution for February’s Polish Pickup. Polish Pickup has exploded onto the indie scene over the past few months with its creative way of offering polish and other products from a huge variety of makers, all in one store. Each month, makers create a polish inspired by a theme voted on by the group members. February’s theme is Sugar Rush. There are a lot of polishes available, so if you’re interested in seeing more, I recommend joining the Facebook Group!
I have the start of something very exciting here on the blog today! This year, I’m going to be doing a monthly theme week here on the blog! Since my drip marbles have been really popular lately, I decided to start off with that. This week I’ll share no less than 4 fun drip marbles. In addition, tomorrow I’ll be sharing a video tutorial showing exactly how I create these fun drip marbles! This will be my very first video tutorial, so I’m really excited to share it with you and see what you think – be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel so long!
Today I have a magnetic cat eye gel polish from Born Pretty Store to share with you. This was my first time trying a magnetic gel polish, although I’ve tried magnetic ‘regular’ polishes before, years ago. Along with the magnetic gel, I used a magnet pen to create a variety of patterns.
It’s the final day of The Digital Dozen does All that Glitters – can you believe it? I’ve really enjoyed this theme – it allowed me to go a little crazy with over-the-top glittery looks. So far this week, I shared some glittering crystals, a glittery drip marble, glitter-dipped fingers, and a fun glitter gradient. Today I’ve gone for all-over glitter again with some glitter placement! I knew I had to do this for one day ever since we decided on this theme, and I decided to save it for the very end.
How about dialling up the glitter a little bit for today’s edition of The Digital Dozen does all that glitters? In fact, I’m going to be bold here and say that this is probably the most glittery look of the whole week, from all of the Digital Dozen members put together. As I’m writing this post up, it’s Sunday evening, and nobody has posted for this theme yet… so I almost hope someone proves me wrong. I doubt it, though! I’m honestly not sure what it would take to get more glitter into a nail art look than this:
