It’s day 2 of the Nail Art A-Go-Go challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails and today’s theme is jewel-toned. I’m sure we’ll be seeing lots of emerald greens, ruby reds, and sapphire blues – I anticipate Essie’s Lots of Lux has been put to good use by someone – but I decided to take inspiration from some beautiful gemstones I actually saw recently to create this: (more…)
It’s day one of the Nail Art A-Go-Go challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails. Today’s theme is achromatic, and I am sure there will be a ton of amazing work done by the other ladies taking part in the challenge!
Yes, today I have more swatches for you. But don’t worry – I promise you a FULL MONTH of nail art starting tomorrow! I am taking part in the Nail Art A-Go-Go challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails so you can expect 28 days of nothing but nail art. My month might get really busy halfway through so I’m not quite sure if I’ll manage to get all the prompts done, but I’ll do my best and you’ll certainly be seeing most of them. This challenge is open to everyone so feel free to hop on board and get some fun nail art done! 🙂Now, on to today’s nails. It was my birthday last month and my lovely sister got me some nail polish! Of course I have to show you 🙂 She got me a set of two of the Revlon Parfumerie polishes: The Indulgent collection, consisting of Bordeaux and Spun Sugar. (more…)
I am back from my holiday in Namibia, and it was amazing. Since I had all my posts scheduled, I doubt you even noticed I was gone, but I did get really behind on all my blog reading! I have a lot of catching up to do!
I know I’ve shown a lot more swatches than usual this month (but weren’t all the polishes beautiful?) but I have some more swatches for you today. Back in November, I was lucky enough to win a giveaway of a Love Thy Polish Halloween Duo over at Lacquer Dreams. So thank you, thank you, thank you to Lacquer Dreams and to Love Thy Polish! The polishes took a while to arrive thanks to even slower postal services over the holiday season, but I got them, I love them, and I swatched them for you 🙂 I know it’s nowhere close to Halloween, but no way was I going to wait until October to show you these beauties!(more…)
I did these nails back at the end of December while I was visiting my family so apologies again for the less-than-perfect lighting. I wanted to play some more with my Moyou plates so I went for some stamps over dots.(more…)
Guess what? This is my 100th blog post! I didn’t realise until I started typing this up so I didn’t do anything specific for it, but I do love today’s nails 😀 You probably know by now that I love silver and blue together so I decided to use them for a fun skittlette combining stamping, glitter and texture. (more…)
Today I have another ILNP post for you. This polish was one of the reasons that I decided to take the plunge and buy from ILNP in the first place – it’s a limited edition, only available as a gift if you ordered at least 3 polishes from the collection during the pre-order. Now, I’m not all that into polishes being limited edition or hard to find – but a free, gorgeous polish added to my order? That’s what sold me. (more…)
When I recently visited my family over Christmas, my sister asked me to do her nails. Since she loved my water marbles the most of everything she’s seen on my blog, she asked for a water marble. This was the first time I ever did someone else’s nails, so it was a little challenging, but fun!(more…)
Today I have my second Ultrachrome from I Love Nail Polish to show you! I showed the first one, Birefringence (H), here. Today I am showing you Mutagen. Be warned, this post is picture heavy, because this polish is so stunning that I just couldn’t stop!
