Fancy French

Hi everyone!

Today I have something quite different to my usual designs for you. As far as I can remember, I’ve never shown French nails on my blog. In general, I’m not the biggest fan of them, although I do like them in alternative colours. Today I decided to try an idea I had floating around for a while – French nails made using rhinestones instead of a second colour. (more…)

A few weeks ago I was contacted on Instagram by MadisJamberrys and asked if I’d be interested in trying Jamberry nail wraps. Of course, I was interested in trying them, so she was great enough to send me a sample 🙂 (more…)

Hi everyone!

I hope you all had a relaxing weekend. You may have noticed I’ve been on a bit of a stamping run ever since I got my new squishy stamper, and today is no exception… more stamping! I am loving the new squishy, and the more practice I get with it, the better I’ll get! The only problem with this plan is soon I’ll be wanting some more stamping plates 🙂 (more…)

Hi everyone!

If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen me post a picture of my very first stamping attempt with my new squishy stamper. I didn’t post it on the blog because my broken nail wasn’t looking too good – but my first attempt with the new stamper looked great! Today I’m showing you the results of my second attempt. (more…)

Hi everyone!

Today I’ve used the four Renaissance Cosmetics polishes I swatched here in some fun and girly nail art. I wanted to do some nail art with all four to show how great they go together. Since these polishes are made by the fantastic Meghan of Will Paint Nails For Food, I decided to replicate some roses and stripes nail art she recently created. (more…)

Renaissance Cosmetics Swatches

Hi everyone!

A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to win a giveaway by Reneissance Cosmetics on their Facebook page and when my parcel arrived I couldn’t wait to get the polishes on my nails. The prize consisted of two full-size polishes from their Love… Everyday collection – Rosie-Osie and Black Heart, Don’t Care as well as a 5 ml cuticle oil. When I mentioned I’m a blogger Meghan was kind enough to add mini bottles of Love… Everyday and L’hiver to the package! (more…)

summary-nail-art-a-go-go-challenge

Hi everyone!

If you’re a fairly regular reader on this blog, you’ll know that during the month of February I did the Nail Art A-Go-Go Challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails. It was 28 days of nail art, and it was a lot of fun! I managed the daily nail art, I tried a bunch of new techniques, and I did some designs that I was pretty proud of. Let’s start off by taking a look at the themes covered by the challenge: (more…)
