Hi everyone!

I’m back after a short unintended break from blogging, and it’s Digital Dozen week! I spent most of July TAing a field camp and so I couldn’t do nail art or blog, but I got some posts up for while I’d be away – and then when I got back, I was so busy catching up on everything else that I didn’t get a chance for blogging, until now. Hi everyone!

It’s the second day of The Digital Dozen does Continents and today I’ve decided to go with the continent I grew up on – Africa. In case you didn’t know, I’m South African and I lived there for the first 25 years of my life. A few years ago, my husband and I took a holiday to the neighbouring country of Namibia. Much of Namibia is desert – the Namib Desert. We went to see the beautiful natural sights and one of the places we visited was the Dooie Vlei. (more…)
