It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen does Marble! I am really in my element this week – drip marbles and water marbles are two of the techniques I feel I’m most comfortable with. I was tempted to just do a week of water marbles and drip marbles, but instead I decided to challenge myself a little by doing a different technique every day this week! Yesterday I shared my realistic marble stone nails. Today I have my drip marble of the week!
Things have been quieter than usual around here – but I’m back with some Christmassy nail art! Last week I was away at a conference in New Orleans. I was supposed to get back on Sunday and I had a couple of posts planned for this week that I just needed to write up. Instead – I had a connection in Atlanta and I got stuck there due to the power failure at the airport! I only got back on Tuesday evening, and while I intended to get a blog post up on Wednesday, I was too tired out and just needed a break! I’m finally back, though, with a fun Christmas-themed drip marble. (more…)
It’s day 4 of the Digital Dozen’s Throwback theme and today I am sharing my version of these dragon nails shared by Cathy of More Nail Polish back in continents week. I love dragons and I love Cathy’s nail art, so it was perfect! (more…)
It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen Does Black. Yesterday, I showed you some matte on glossy black stamping with a pink accent. Today I’ve done something with a pretty similar idea behind it, even if the look itself is quite different. I’ve again combined matte and glossy finishes and added a splash of colour. (more…)
I have some really fun nail art to share with you today – a drip marble! If you’re thinking that red, green and gold sounds like a pretty Christmassy colour scheme, you’re absolutely right. I actually did these a couple of months ago with the intention of posting them in the week before Christmas as some holiday nail art. As it turned out, I didn’t get a chance to actually schedule the post before I left for my vacation, so this poor nail art has been sitting unposted since then! I decided to share it with you now because you can wear red, green and gold any time you want. These pretty colours don’t have to be exclusive to December! Besides, I liked this nail art and I hope you’ll enjoy it too 🙂 (more…)

Hi everyone!
Have you tried one of the silicone stamping mats that have become popular recently? I feel like I’ve seen them everywhere lately, and I honestly didn’t quite see the appeal – what makes this better than working over a magazine, or using a stamper head to make decals? Well, I received one in my latest review package from Born Pretty Store, so I decided to try it out. I’ve used it to help me out in creating two manicures, so read on for pretty pictures and my thoughts on whether or not a stamping mat is worth it! (more…)

Hi everyone!
Today I am excited to share a new collection from Darling Diva Polish with you. This 8-piece collection, called Watch Your Pack, is inspired by the TV show Teen Wolf. I haven’t watched Teen Wolf yet, but considering previous DDP collections include Deadpool, which I liked, and Star Wars, which I love, maybe I should! This collection is releasing this Friday, 22 July, and all polishes are one-pour only, which means when they’re sold out, they’re gone forever. I absolutely love this collection so I’ve taken a lot of pictures (picture heavy post!) and I recently got a macro lens for my phone – if you follow me on Snapchat you may have already seen macros of some of these – so for the first time on Painted Fingertips, I’ll be including macro shots of all polishes as well. Enjoy! (more…)
