Hi everyone!

We’ve made it to the final day of the Digital Dozen does Marble! This theme has been wonderful. Lots of abstract swirls of colour and fun techniques! Marbled nails are fun to create and so gorgeous. I hope you’ve enjoyed this week as much as I have! In case you missed them, so far this week I’ve shared a realistic stone marble, a drip marble, a water marble, and a fiery needle drag. I’m rounding out the week with a watercolour marbled look.

Paper Snowflake Decorations

Painted Fingertips | Paper snowflake decorations

Hi everyone!

I have something different to share today! Aside from doing my nails, I also enjoy doing quick crafts and making my own decorations. In fact, I even folded hundreds of paper flowers for my wedding bouquet and decor. Over the holiday season, I felt like decorating at least a little and decided to make something. Since I live in Minnesota, where it’s cold and snowy this time of year, I decided to go with some paper snowflakes. What got me in the mood to do this (and I don’t mean the change of season), was that recently my friend did a complete overhaul of her home, she hated her wallpaper and then took a look around and realized she didn’t like any of the colors in her home, so she got to decorating. She got herself some delicate summer floral peel and stick wallpaper for her statement wall and then built her new color scheme around that, she loves summer so much and wanted to be reminded it of it constantly, but with me it actually got me thinking about embracing the cold and what better way to embrace it by making snowflakes, the staple of a winter wonderland! My DIY Wedding Decor

Hi everyone!

Earlier this week I showed you the nails I wore on my wedding day. Today I am sharing something completely different with you. No nails in this post, but this is something I spent so much of my time on during the past few months that I just had to do a blog post and share it with you. When we decided to get married, I decided that I wanted to make my own flowers from paper. This way, I can keep my bouquet and not worry about it wilting! Of course, it also turned out to be a huge amount of work! I don’t have my official pictures yet so most of these are just quick snaps with my phone, but they’re enough to give you an idea of it.
