Tri-Polish Challenge September: Day 4

Hello again!

Today is the fourth and final Tri-Polish day for the month. Today, my nails were inspired by these gorgeous flowers created by Sincerely Stephanie. I’ve had her picture saved for weeks just waiting for a chance to recreate it! Of course, mine doesn’t look nearly as beautiful as hers did, but I still loved having this on my nails.

My three polishes for this month’s challenge were Tip Top Nail Chic – Pot-O-Berries and Blue Meets Green, and Essence Colour & Go Absolutely Blue. I also used Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Black Out and White On.

Hello ladies!

It’s a public holiday (Heritage Day) here in South Africa today, so I’ve scheduled this post and I’m probably lying in bed sleeping in 😀

For today’s challenge, I had to create some book-inspired nails, and I was happy to use one of my favourite books ever: Sabriel by Garth Nix. It’s part of a trilogy (Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen) which were my absolute favourite books as a teenager and are still among my favourites. (more…)

Hi everyone!

Today I tried some of the most complex nail art I’ve ever done: Finding Nemo nails! They’ve been done before plenty of times, but I knew I wanted to do an animation for my movie-inspired nails, and Finding Nemo was one of my favourite animations ever. Before I show you the pictures, I want you to focus very carefully: Look at my thumb, index finger, middle finger, CLOSE YOUR EYES FOR A MILLISECOND, and look at my pinkie.
