As the saying goes, April showers bring May flowers – we’ve been having plenty of April showers, I’m just waiting on the May flowers! I decided to start a little early on my nails. (more…)

Hi everyone!
Today I have another Born Pretty Store stamping plate review to share with you. Last week I shared my disappointing experience with the first of their new square stamping plates. Having tried that one first, I wasn’t overly excited about trying this one and for my first look, I just did a rushed stamping job over their Chameleon Polish 221, which I also reviewed last week. Here’s a look at the plate (image from Born Pretty Store): (more…)
Today I have some double stamping to share with you. I keep seeing amazing double-stamped nails, and it never quite seems to work out for me! I really like the colour combination I’ve used today though, and it certainly creates an interesting look. (more…)
I decided to play with my squishy stamper a bit more to create some 80s-themed nails. Since the 80s were all about bright colours I decided to start with a brightly-coloured distressed effect. (more…)
It’s day one of the Nail Art A-Go-Go challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails. Today’s theme is achromatic, and I am sure there will be a ton of amazing work done by the other ladies taking part in the challenge!
Today I have the second of my ILNP polishes to show you. The first, Birefringence (H), can be seen here. I didn’t quite manage to stick to only the ultrachromes – I couldn’t resist Admire Me. (more…)
I played with my Moyou plates again! Have I mentioned that I love them? One of the images I couldn’t wait to try was the beautiful peacock feathers on their Pro Collection plate 05. (more…)
When I first saw the colours for this month’s tri-polish challenge – yellow, orange and green – I was pretty unsure and I struggled to think of cool ideas. But this is proof that sometimes it works to just TRY something, because I love the design I have for you today!
I started with a sponged gradient of my 3 colours for the month – Essence Colour & Go Flashy Pumpkin, Wanna be your Sunshine, and We Rock the Green. Then I took out my Essence stampy polishes in Stamp me! White and Stamp me! Black and had fun with my new plate m66 from the Born Pretty Store.
It is such a beautiful, warm, sunny Sunday here! I hope you are all having lovely relaxing days as well 🙂
Today’s theme is inspired by the supernatural. Since I am not all that into the supernatural, I decided to extend the theme a little to more of a Halloween vibe. Halloween has many supernatural connotations, anyway 🙂
I started with a coat of Essence Colour & Go in Flashy Pumpkin on each nail, then a coat of Rimmel Cocktail Colour in Shirley Temple to give it some sparkle. I stamped using the black and white stampy polishes from Essence.
