After that Digital Dozen week packed with lots of nail art, how about a simple swatch of a gorgeous, unique polish? I decided to try my very first Anchor & Heart Polish in last month’s Polish Pickup sale. Rhyme & Reason was inspired by The Phantom Tollbooth for the Polish Pickup Books theme.
The polish in this post was provided for my honest review.
It’s almost time for the March Polish Pickup to start! Can you believe it’s already March? The sale with plenty of book-themed polishes available is starting tomorrow. Today, I have a swatch of one more polish you probably need to add to your wishlist! This is Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer Because of My Character.
It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen does Mythical Creatures! Remember how I mentioned on Monday that dragons are always the first mythical creature that come to mind for me? Well, phoenix are rarely far behind. I love the whole concept of the phoenix, from its flaming body to its ability to resurrect. So today, I have done a phoenix-inspired drip marble.
It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen does Mythical Creatures! I am really loving what the other DD members have come up with so far – I’m looking forward to the rest of this week’s nail art! Yesterday, I started the theme off with some freehand dragon nail art. Today, I’ve gone for a far more delicate mythical creature – the fairy.
Well, we’ve made it through the first day of 2018! Let’s hope the year just keeps on getting better 🙂 Today I have a swatch from a new-to-me brand, Supernatural Lacquer! I’ve been eyeing their polishes for a while, and finally decided to try my first one during October’s Polish Pickup. That’s something that I really enjoy about Polish Pickup – it enables you to try just one polish from a new brand without having to pay for shipping multiple times. I’m really glad I tried this one! Let’s take a look:
Some items in this post were provided for honest review.
January’s Polish Pickup is rapidly approaching and today I have this month’s Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer polish to share with you. I’ve posted about Polish Pickup a couple of times before, but in case you’re not familiar with it yet, this is a monthly pop-up nail polish shop with a new theme each month. January’s theme is Crystals & Gemstones, and at this point dozens of makers are participating with their own themed polishes, cuticle oils, nail decals, etc. All of the products are available through a pre-order on the Polish Pickup site from 5-8 January, and you can join the Facebook Group for more swatches and updates on coming months.
It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen does Futuristic! So far this week, I’ve done Star Trek nails and futuristic half-moon nails. Today, I have my most extreme and far-future futuristic look of the week to share with you!
Last week I showed you some shifty purple-green nail flakies from Beauty Big Bang, and today I’m back with another review of one of their nail products. This is another loose nail powder-type product, and this time it’s silver holographic flakes! The best picture is at the very end so make sure you look at the whole post to see it!
It’s almost Halloween and I finally have some Halloween nail art to share with you! Halloween is such a perfect time to do themed nail art and I just didn’t get a chance this year until now. I’ve done plenty of Halloween looks in previous years so check them out! Today I have some cute little ghosts and bats over a stunning multichrome flake base.
