Today I have a swatch of a stunning and hugely popular polish to share with you: Cupcake Polish Berry Good Looking. This gorgeous polish has been around for a while already and everyone has been raving about it since it first came out, so I’m glad I finally got my hands on it! This is my first Cupcake polish and I’m certain it won’t be my last. (more…)

Today I have a review of another Born Pretty Store stamping plate to share with you. This one features an image of a dreamcatcher complete with feathers over the surface of the entire plate. I decided to do my first nail art with the plate using just the feathers.
Today I have a swatch of Vapid’s Spider and the Fly to share with you. Over the past year or more, I have seen Vapid spoken about with admiration in various nail groups. I eventually decided to take the plunge and get a couple to test out for myself. This is one of the ones I selected, and I wasn’t disappointed!
It’s day 4 of the Digital Dozen does Decades and today I’m doing the 2000s. I’m honestly not too sure what colours or styles would best represent the 2000s – perhaps it is still too recent to discern what set the time apart. Instead, I’m going to give you a little bit of a nail art history lesson!
It’s time for another Digital Dozen week! This month, the theme is simply ‘December’, and it’s open to our interpretation as to what December means to us. Well, living in Minnesota, one thing that December brings is snow!
It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen week and this month’s theme is colour contrasts! Yesterday I shared some orange and blue contrasting nails, and today I have another typical colour contrast with some yellow and purple nails.
The polishes used in this post include both press samples and items purchased at a blogger discount.
I am so excited to share today’s post with you. Not only am I going to share seven beautiful new polishes from The Howling Boutique’s Supermoon Lacquer with you, but there is also a giveaway at the end! You will be able to win your choice of two of these beauties – this post is picture heavy but be sure to make it through to the end for the giveaway!
Supermoon Lacquer is a relatively new brand, but one that has already caught my eye – you may have noticed me using one of their polishes as the base for my water drops nail art a couple of weeks ago. Of course, I jumped at the chance to swatch their new, gloriously darker collection, filled with shimmer and shift. This is Supermoon’s third full collection and it may just be their best yet!
Today’s 31 Day Challenge theme is metallic. I feel like I’m cheating a little, both in terms of the theme and my vow to go freehand all month, although technically I do have both covered. This one is picture heavy!

A while ago on Snapchat I shared a step-by-step for how I do gradient nails. Of course, the result was (as expected) some pretty gradient nails. I used some lovely holos for these so they came out extra-gorgeous!

Today I am excited to share a new collection from Darling Diva Polish with you. This 8-piece collection, called Watch Your Pack, is inspired by the TV show Teen Wolf. I haven’t watched Teen Wolf yet, but considering previous DDP collections include Deadpool, which I liked, and Star Wars, which I love, maybe I should! This collection is releasing this Friday, 22 July, and all polishes are one-pour only, which means when they’re sold out, they’re gone forever. I absolutely love this collection so I’ve taken a lot of pictures (picture heavy post!) and I recently got a macro lens for my phone – if you follow me on Snapchat you may have already seen macros of some of these – so for the first time on Painted Fingertips, I’ll be including macro shots of all polishes as well. Enjoy!
