Hi everyone!

We’ve made it to the final day of the Digital Dozen does Marble! This theme has been wonderful. Lots of abstract swirls of colour and fun techniques! Marbled nails are fun to create and so gorgeous. I hope you’ve enjoyed this week as much as I have! In case you missed them, so far this week I’ve shared a realistic stone marble, a drip marble, a water marble, and a fiery needle drag. I’m rounding out the week with a watercolour marbled look.

I had an idea for some Lord of the Rings nail art, and I like both the LOTR movies and the books, but I just wasn’t sure how cool the nail art would come out. In the end, I decided to go for it. 31DC2016 Day 13: Flamingo Animal Print

Hi everyone!

Today’s theme in the 31 Day Challenge is animal print. I’ve never been that much of a fan of the ‘usual’ types of animal print you see – leopard and zebra – although I did enjoy the mini leopard print I did a while back. For today’s look, I decided to stretch the definition of animal print and did a look that reminded me of an Hawaiian print shirt, complete with a flamingo. (more…)
