It’s a gorgeous autumn here in Minnesota – the trees are all changing beautifully and it isn’t TOO cold yet. Leaves of every colour are beginning to fall and that’s the part of the autumn I’ve decided to recreate on my nails.
This year I wished I could have done as many Halloween designs, but time constraints only let me do one. It’s a a good one though! I asked my husband for some ideas for Halloween nail art and he suggested I steer clear of traditional Halloween colours and do something in blue instead. I’d been feeling like painting some roses so this was what I finally came up with:
It’s day 11 of the Nail Art A-Go-Go challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails and today’s theme is wallpaper. Today’s nails came out a little different than I originally pictured them, but they’re still wallpapery enough.
If you saw Tuesday’s post, you’ll know that this month the tri-polish challenge theme is gold and silver with colour accents. In this mani the gold and silver are more the accents, but these polishes stamp so perfectly that I couldn’t resist. I used Tip Top Gold Digger for the gold, and Armourplate for the silver. Today’s pictures are with the lightbox again, so enjoy 🙂(more…)
