It’s time for another Digital Dozen week! I got back just in time to take part in this one – I’ve spent the past 3 weeks on an epic road trip through the American desert Southwest! I had a great time, but it’s good to be home.
I’m doing my best to put together posts for this week, especially since I’ve missed the past couple of Digital Dozen themes. I realised halfway through my trip that DD week was right after I got back, so I searched through the handful of posts I had in drafts, and thankfully found one that could do for the first day of the theme. This month’s theme is ‘look up’ and we are supposed to look up and find inspiration in the first thing we see! I’m not sure how practical that is, or you might be seeing a lot of white ceiling-inspired looks – but I’ve at least been thinking about and observing the things I see when I look up.Read more about my night-sky inspired nails

I am so excited to share this post with you! A short while ago, Nadia of Moonflower Polish approached me and asked me if I could showcase a few of her polishes on my blog. Of course I leapt at the opportunity! Most polishes made by Moonflower are intended as stamping polish, so of course they are perfect for me with all of the nail art I do. In fact, just the other day I was thinking that I needed something fresh in my stamping repertoire and purchased a few new plates. These stamping polishes were perfect to add to that and I think you will like them too!
Today I have 5 brand new Moonflower polishes to share, the Vampy Cremes. These are releasing tomorrow morning, 23 February, at 9 am EST on the Moonflower Polish site. They are all dark creme bases with complementary colour shifting shimmers. They will be priced at $8 for a 15 ml bottle, or $38 for the set of 5. They are also available in mini bottles at $5 each or $23 for the set of 5. Do note that since these are highly pigmented, they may cause staining of nails, skin, or stampers; however I personally have not had any issues with staining while using these as stamping polishes.
I have tested each of these stamping polishes over both a light and a dark colour, so there are no less than 10 stamped looks to follow! It is a long, picture-heavy post, but worth it. Keep on scrolling to see how amazing each of the stamping polishes looks! (more…)
