Zombie Hands

Painted Fingertips | Zombie Hands Halloween stamping

Hi everyone!

Halloween is almost here, can you believe it? I’ve done a couple of Halloween nail art looks and I can’t wait to share them with you! You may already have noticed some Halloween-themed stamping in the Moonflower Polish Gemstones Collection post I shared last week.  Today’s look is some very simple stamping, but it works so well.

Rose Claw Nails

Hi everyone!

I was filing my nails the other day when I had the urge to try something different. I usually file my nails edges first, then tips, so there’s always a moment when I’m left with more of a pointed claw/almond shape – this time, I decided to shape all of my nails that way and do at least one nail art before deciding if I’d round them off to my usual oval shape. Hi everyone!

I know, I know, I’m so late with this post! But here it is at last, my fifth and final post for last week’s Digital Dozen stamping theme. For this theme, I needed to combine the prompt with a few stamping plate and polish reviews I needed to get done. So far, I shared reviews of 3 plates from Beauty Big Bang – plate BeautyBigBang10, plate BeautyBigBang09, and plate BeautyBigBang07. I also shared my review on how the Moonflower Polish Spring collection performs for stamping. Today I’m back with another review, this time for Born Pretty Store plate Valentine’s Day BP-L001. Moonflower Polish | Vampy Cremes Swatches

Painted Fingertips | Moonflower Polish Plum Swatch

Hi everyone!

Remember the amazing vampy stamping polishes from Moonflower I showed you the other day? Well, it turns out they can do more than just stamp. Today I have swatches of the 5 vampy cremes on their own as regular polish and they are amazing like this too! Before I even start showing you the pictures, I need to let you know that I used only ONE COAT for each of these 5 polishes. They are incredibly pigmented and while force of habit – plus wanting to make sure I didn’t miss any spots due to poor application skills – generally makes me want to use 2 coats for any polish, these really, truly only need one. Let’s take a look at these beauties! (more…)

Moonflower Polish | Vampy Cremes Stamping

Painted Fingertips | Moonflower Polish Vampy Cremes stamping - Dark Green

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to share this post with you! A short while ago, Nadia of Moonflower Polish approached me and asked me if I could showcase a few of her polishes on my blog. Of course I leapt at the opportunity! Most polishes made by Moonflower are intended as stamping polish, so of course they are perfect for me with all of the nail art I do. In fact, just the other day I was thinking that I needed something fresh in my stamping repertoire and purchased a few new plates. These stamping polishes were perfect to add to that and I think you will like them too!

Today I have 5 brand new Moonflower polishes to share, the Vampy Cremes. These are releasing tomorrow morning, 23 February, at 9 am EST on the Moonflower Polish site. They are all dark creme bases with complementary colour shifting shimmers. They will be priced at $8 for a 15 ml bottle, or $38 for the set of 5. They are also available in mini bottles at $5 each or $23 for the set of 5. Do note that since these are highly pigmented, they may cause staining of nails, skin, or stampers; however I personally have not had any issues with staining while using these as stamping polishes.

I have tested each of these stamping polishes over both a light and a dark colour, so there are no less than 10 stamped looks to follow! It is a long, picture-heavy post, but worth it. Keep on scrolling to see how amazing each of the stamping polishes looks! (more…)
