Hi everyone!

Today I have a review of a Born Pretty Store stamping polish to share with you. I’ve reviewed a few from this line before and I’ve really liked them! This time, I have Born Pretty Store stamping polish #17 (watermelon). As usual, I’ve done two different looks to show you how the polish performs over both dark and light bases. I like my second look the best, so be sure to click through and see them both! (more…)

The Digital Dozen Does Art: Lichtenstein-style Pop Art

Painted Fingertips | The Digital Dozen Does Art - lichtenstein-style pop art

Hi everyone!

It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen does art! I’ve really enjoyed this theme so far and I loved both of the nail art looks I’ve already shared with you. In case you missed them, I recreated Munch’s The Scream and a gorgeous vibrant tree artwork by Megan Duncanson.

Today I’ve moved away from freehand art for the first time this week (don’t worry, there’s more freehand coming later in the week!) to create a pop art look. (more…)

Hi everyone!

Today I have one from the stash to share with you – I did these nails months ago but never got around to posting them. I didn’t quite love the nail art so it always seemed like there was something else to post first. I still think they’re fun, though, so I’m glad I’m finally getting around to sharing them with you! Some items in this post have been provided for review.

Hi everyone!

I was recently approached by Madam Glam to review some of their products and of course I couldn’t refuse. Be sure to scroll to the end of the post for a discount code for your own Madam Glam purchases! I have seen some of their products on other blogs before and they have always looked lovely, although this is my first time trying any of their products myself. Their focus is on gel polish, although they do stock a range of regular polish as well as some nail art products. I don’t believe I have ever shared a gel manicure with you on Painted Fingertips, but I couldn’t resist testing out one of their gorgeous gels. (more…)

Painted Fingertips | The Digital Dozen Does Decades - 90s Grunge

Hi everyone!

It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen Decades theme and today I’ve jumped ahead to the 90s. This was a time of rock music, leather, and too much eyeliner. I decided on a distressed look with a splash of colour and some stamping: (more…)

Painted Fingertips | The Digital Dozen does Colour Contrast - pink and turquoise

Hi everyone!

Things in the water – Pond Mani

Painted Fingertips | Pond mani with fish

Hi everyone!

The 40 great nail art ideas challenge is still going on with a manicure popping in every here and there for me. It looks like I might have to skip the final 3 prompts because other things will be happening on the blog, but we’ll see. For now, today’s theme is ‘things in the water’. (more…)
