I have a cheerful, colourful gradient to share with you today! Things have been really busy for me lately with work and other hobbies, so I’ve had a hard time posting as much as usual. Fortunately, I found this fun gradient amongst my photos that I somehow never managed to post! It’s about time I shared it with you.
I decided to finish up the Digital Dozen’s Look Up theme with something I haven’t actually seen… but imagine if you went outside right now, looked up, and saw a sky filled with flying saucers and an alien looking down at you! It may be a little far-fetched, but who knows! Besides, I really wanted to use these stamping images 🙂
It’s time for another Digital Dozen week! I got back just in time to take part in this one – I’ve spent the past 3 weeks on an epic road trip through the American desert Southwest! I had a great time, but it’s good to be home.
I’m doing my best to put together posts for this week, especially since I’ve missed the past couple of Digital Dozen themes. I realised halfway through my trip that DD week was right after I got back, so I searched through the handful of posts I had in drafts, and thankfully found one that could do for the first day of the theme. This month’s theme is ‘look up’ and we are supposed to look up and find inspiration in the first thing we see! I’m not sure how practical that is, or you might be seeing a lot of white ceiling-inspired looks – but I’ve at least been thinking about and observing the things I see when I look up.
Are you enjoying tropical week as much as I am? I have my favourite look of the week to share with you today, a brightly coloured tropical sunset. So far this week, I’ve shared some tropical flowers, pineapple nails, and a watermelon water marble. (more…)
What better way to start off 2018 than with some fun nail art? If you stayed up to celebrate the coming of the new year last night, you might have looked up, or out a window, and seen some stars. It was freezing here so I stayed cozy inside, but I did the the stunning full moon. (more…)
It’s day 4 of the Digital Dozen does Futuristic! So far this week, I’ve shared Star Trek nails, chrome half-moon nails, and metal-dipped fingers. For today’s look, I was thinking about the directions that a lot of movies take with futuristic fashion. Think the garish colours of capitol fashion in The Hunger Games, or the hard geometric lines, lights and metallic finishes of the fashion in Tron. I wasn’t inspired by any specific movie, but it was with these types of bright colours, geometric shapes, and metallic finishes in mind that I came up with today’s nail art look. (more…)

Hi everyone!
I’m back to finish off the week with one more Born Pretty Store product review. This time it is for a stamping plate that is perfect for Autumn – plate BP-156. This is a small round plate with 4 different leafy designs. I have actually used this same plate for the Fall look I shared with you earlier this week. Today I have manicures using 2 more of the designs on the plate – so there is just one more gorgeous leafy pattern on the plate that I haven’t tried yet. (more…)
I have some ridiculously cute nail art to share with you today! I did this unicorn cupcake and ice cream stamping a while ago and somehow it didn’t get published – until now! (more…)
It’s Water Marble Wednesday! Are you sick of my neon water marbles yet? I know, I know, it’s the third one in a row. I’ve just really enjoyed how beautifully the Pipe Dream Polish ANIV collection marbles! Don’t worry, I’ve got something different lined up for the next few water marble Wednesdays. For now, though, here’s a fun neon spiral marble! (more…)
