Today’s theme is food and while I considered doing something similar to this cute fruit print, I just didn’t feel all that inspired. Then, once I put Silly Bee’s Chickadees Steph’s Sugar Plum Suite on my nails, it reminded me so much of a delicious milkshake that I knew it would be the perfect base for a tasty ice cream manicure. Today I am taking part in a Hobby Polish Bloggers linkup. If you’re also a blogger, it’s a great group to be in to discuss nails and blogging. This month’s theme is gradients.

If you haven’t heard of Piggieluv before, you’re going to thank me for this post. If you’re really into nails, though, you probably have! She is one of my favourite nail artists and does amazing freehand and 3D designs. Today’s look was inspired by this post she did. She created a love story in 5 manis and I chose one of the 5 to repoduce. I went with a different coloured gradient, and somehow my couple ended up looking really short, but overall I like it! Swatch and comparison: my 5 brightest pinks

With the weather warming up lately, I felt like putting something bright on my nails. I decided to go with pink, and I have done a comparison for you of my 5 brightest pinks so we can see which is the brightest of them all!
