It’s very definitely Autumn here and all of the leaves are changing! The tree outside my window was still green a couple of weeks ago but it’s golden-yellow now and rapidly losing its leaves. Soon it will be bare and winter will be here!
It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen does Marble! I am really in my element this week – drip marbles and water marbles are two of the techniques I feel I’m most comfortable with. I was tempted to just do a week of water marbles and drip marbles, but instead I decided to challenge myself a little by doing a different technique every day this week! Yesterday I shared my realistic marble stone nails. Today I have my drip marble of the week!
It’s day 4 of the Digital Dozen does Look Up. This week is flying by! I can’t believe it’s already Thursday. So far this week, I’ve shared a neon night sky, some foiled snowflakes, and holo galaxy nails. Today I have one that I don’t regularly see when I look up, but it would be fun if I did! I’ve stamped some cute little owls.
Last week I shared my swatches of my gorgeous Polish ‘M custom, My Little Escape. Today I have a little quick stamped nail art over My Little Escape. If you haven’t entered yet, don’t forget to enter my giveaway to win this plus 4 other custom polishes! (more…)
Yesterday, I celebrated 5 years of blogging over here at Painted Fingertips. I needed a little extra time to get this post together, but here it is: to celebrate 5 years of sharing my love for nail polish and nail art with you, I am giving away 5 custom made nail polishes! A few months ago, as I realised I was coming up on my 5th blogging anniversary, I decided that I wanted to do something extra special. Aside from sharing my top nail art looks of the year, I decided to celebrate each of the past 5 years with a special polish. I contacted 5 of my favourite brands and commissioned custom polishes for the celebration! I also decided that I wanted to share the celebrations with you, by doing a giveaway. Keep reading to enter the giveaway! (more…)
I’m back after a short unintended break from blogging, and it’s Digital Dozen week! I spent most of July TAing a field camp and so I couldn’t do nail art or blog, but I got some posts up for while I’d be away – and then when I got back, I was so busy catching up on everything else that I didn’t get a chance for blogging, until now. I’m excited to get back into the swing of things with this Digital Dozen week! The theme is tropical and I have some fun looks to share with you. To start off with, I have a leafy floral look. (more…)
It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is Indie Love. I’ve decided to select a different indie brand for each day and do a nail art look using only polishes from that brand! I’m starting the week off with one of my favourite indies, Polish ‘M. I’m also celebrating Spring with a floral look today – I wish it actually seemed like Spring here but a snowy look might have been more appropriate at the moment! (more…)

Hi everyone!
I know, I know, I’m so late with this post! But here it is at last, my fifth and final post for last week’s Digital Dozen stamping theme. For this theme, I needed to combine the prompt with a few stamping plate and polish reviews I needed to get done. So far, I shared reviews of 3 plates from Beauty Big Bang – plate BeautyBigBang10, plate BeautyBigBang09, and plate BeautyBigBang07. I also shared my review on how the Moonflower Polish Spring collection performs for stamping. Today I’m back with another review, this time for Born Pretty Store plate Valentine’s Day BP-L001. (more…)
