I have a simple but lovely look to share with you today. I don’t use nail decals or stencils very often, but I used some here together with two beautiful polishes from Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer to create a look that would be perfect for Christmas, Valentine’s Day, or really any time.
Can you believe that it’s already almost the end of February? In a couple of days, it’ll be March, and with March comes the books theme for Polish Pickup! The books theme was a long time coming, almost making it in over the past couple of months and then just being voted out. Finally, the books theme won, and I for one am really excited about it! I have been seeing a few books that I know and enjoy, and others that I haven’t read before – along with lots of pretty polish!
If Polish Pickup is new to you, here’s how it works: prior to each month’s Polish Pickup weekend, there is a period for nominations, and then voting for a theme. These are announced in the Polish Pickup Pack Facebook group, if you’d like to keep up with them there. Once a theme has been selected, participating makers all make a nail polish or other nail care and related items according to the theme. These are revealed in the weeks leading up to the pickup weekend. Finally, on the first weekend of the month, all of the items are available for purchase in one convenient shop. For March, the shop opens at 11 am EST on March 2 and is open for three days, until March 5. That is the only time that this nail polish is available! Enough talk – time for swatches! (more…)

I’ve used some glittery polishes for stamping decals before, and they worked really well. I knew I had to do some glittery decals for this theme! I flipped through my stamping plates, and a pretty crystal image caught my eye – crystals glitter! (more…)
I hope you’re having a wonderful, peaceful Christmas, if you celebrate it, or a delightful Monday if not! Today I have a nail art look to share that is perfect for either a Christmas look in red and white, or just as an elegant swirly manicure for any occasion. (more…)

I’m excited to show you this first stamping plate, BP-L043, because I love both nail art looks I created using it. It has some really pretty images! (more…)
It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen does paper and today I’ve done some wrapping paper nails. Wrapping paper seemed like the perfect way to interpret this theme – fun, colourful and easy to turn into nail art. (more…)
