Hi everyone!

Today I have a completely new-to-me product to share with you. You may have noticed that I have done a handful of reviews for Madam Glam over the past week and a bit. This is the final review I have to share with you of one of their products and I just had to try something unique – something I had never tried before. I decided to have my first experience with 3D gel. (more…)

The Digital Dozen Does Vampy: Roses over a Gradient

Painted Fingertips | Gradient and roses for the Digital Dozen Vampy week

Hi everyone!

Wow, I can’t believe it’s been a full week since I’ve posted! I intended to post more last week but I’ve been having a particularly crazy time with work, and after the 31 Day Challenge, I just didn’t have a post ready to go. Good news though – I’ll be posting every day this week! And not just any posts, Digital Dozen posts! That’s right, I’m now a member of the Digital Dozen nail art group! If you follow a lot of nail art blogs, you’ve probably heard of the group already. If not, the Digital Dozen is a group of nail bloggers who choose a theme each month and then post 5 nail art looks for the theme during one week, Monday to Friday. The group has been around for 4 years already, with membership changing over time, and I’ve always looked up to the members as fantastic nail artists. I am really excited that I have the opportunity to be in this group now! I think it’ll be a lot of fun and hopefully I’ll create some great nail art to share with you all.

This month’s theme, for my first month with the Digital Dozen, is vampy. (more…)

The very first theme is red. For this one, I decided to make the red the ‘feature’ colour with the main colour being pink. (more…)

Hi everyone!

Today I have a review of a Born Pretty Store stamping plate to share with you. Today I’m trying out plate BP-73. I picked this plate because I have really been craving florals lately and the plate is all about roses! I love the images and I couldn’t wait to try them. First I tried the roses with some sexy red: (more…)

40 Great Nail Art Ideas – Halloween!

Painted Fingertips | Roses around the gravestone for Halloween

Hi everyone!

It’s time for another group post and today’s theme is Halloween. I just love Halloween as a theme for nail art and if you’ve been following my blog for a while, you might remember how crazy I went last October. I had a whole month of Halloween nail art with mummies, spiderwebs and more spiderwebs, textured bats, a Halloween-coloured water marble, a great combination of glitter and skulls, some really blinged-out skulls, blood spatter, and black widow nail art.

I summarised all of these and more in a post yesterday so go take a look at 13 different Halloween nail art looks. (more…)

Painted Fingertips | Gradient with freehand roses inspired by Lucy's Stash

Hi everyone!

Today I have another look inspired by Lucy’s Stash to share with you. She is one of my favourite bloggers, so yes, I find inspiration from her a lot! This time it was a lovely gradient topped with freehand roses that I decided to recreate – with a change or two. (more…)
