Today I am starting something new on my blog. There are a few reasons behind this – one is that I often don’t find much time to do my nails during the semester. I made time to do some more detailed nail art over the break which I’ll be sharing with you over the next few weeks, but now that I’m back in class, I might only have a few minutes here and there to spare. Another reason is that people will often see my nails and comment that they don’t have time to do something like that – now I know some might actually mean that they couldn’t be bothered to do nail art, but some really think that any nail art must take forever, just because they haven’t tried it before or aren’t sure how it’s done. So this is for those people who might really want to try some nail art but not spend hours on it! I’m here to prove that all it has to take is 5 minutes to have amazing nails. (more…)
For today’s nails I started with a plan of doing geometric nails and it morphed until it became more about gradients than about anything geometric. You’ll have to excuse my slightly poorly lit photos – my lighting setup didn’t move with me so I had to make do. You’ll be seeing a few posts like this but it’ll get better! I already got a couple of lamps although I’m struggling to get my hands on good bulbs. (more…)
