It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen does Rainforests and today I have one of my favourite looks of the week to share with you (although my absolute favourite is still coming up on Friday!). I’ve combined some stamping and freehand to create a pretty butterfly nail art.

I have a review of another Born Pretty Store stamping plate – plate BP-113 – to share with you today. Here is an image of the plate taken from the Born Pretty Store website: I’ve become quite partial to the larger rectangular plates, but I liked the geometric images on this one so much that I decided to give it a try. I have two different looks to share with you using this plate today, so be sure to check out the full post! (more…)
It’s time for another Water Marble Wednesday! If today’s look doesn’t prove to you that there’s a water marble for every occasion, then I don’t know what will 🙂 I’ve decided to create a bridal water marble. (more…)
It’s time for another Digital Dozen Birthday post and this time we have something extra special up our collective sleeve! Rather than celebrating one of the group’s birthdays, we’re celebrating a brand new birthday. Amber of Nails like Lace had a baby girl! We decided to surprise her with celebratory baby-girl nails 🙂

Today I have a review of some multichrome powder from Born Pretty Store to share with you. I am sure you have seen some similar products around – in fact, I did some holographic powder nails a couple of months ago. This was my first time trying a multichrome powder.
This month’s Digital Dozen theme is Decades. I just got back from my lovely California vacation, so I haven’t had all that much time to think up ideas for the theme, but I’ll do the best I can! I originally had a 30s idea to start off with, but I didn’t like how it turned out so I have decided to start off with the bright and colourful 60s instead! And what better way to use the bright 60s colours than in a water marble?
The semester is coming to an end soon and I have been really busy trying to get everything finished – and still share some nail art with you! I love doing Christmas nail art and I have a few designs lined up already. Today, I have some nail art reminiscent of Christmas candy canes.
It’s the final day of the 31 Day Challenge! Can you believe it? I’m so glad that I’ve made it through this year’s challenge, and congratulations to everyone else who took part! The final theme is ‘honour nails you love’. I really enjoy this theme, because I love doing nail art inspired by others. There are so many fantastic nail bloggers, and when I see nails I love it’s hard not to recreate them. I often go to others when I’m in need of inspiration, too. If I can’t decide what to do on my nails, I’ll head to my Pinterest boards or catch up on my blog reading and see if it gives me any ideas. One of the nail artists who inspires me the most is Narmai of Piggieluv. She has incredible freehand nail art skills and comes up with the best, and often the craziest (in a good way!) ideas. So, it was only natural that I recreate one of her nail art looks for the final day of the challenge and I decided to go with some freehand landscape nails.
