Today’s theme in the 31 Day Challenge is ‘inspired by a book’. I decided to go with one of my favourites, Game of Thrones! A lot of you probably know it from the TV series – which I also enjoy – but I have read all the books so far as well.
Today’s 31 Day Challenge theme is dots! I decided to do a neon dotticure. I wasn’t sure if this counts as freehand, since I was using a dotting tool – but then again I was using the dotting tool freehand? It’s a grey area, so I just went bright and detailed to make it count!
Today’s theme for the 31 Day Challenge is black and white. It took me a long time to decide what to do for this theme. Whenever I do black and white nails, I feel like I should be able to do something really cool and dramatic, and then I have trouble figuring out what. In the end, I decided to fall back on a simple freehanded pattern that I made up as I went along.
Today I have a fun skittlette to share with you. Ages ago I got Flormar Black Dot in a gift exchange and I can’t believe that I’ve never shared it with you on the blog! I decided to pair it with stamping and more glitter here.
Remember the colouring pencil musical notes nail art I did not long ago? I thought that it was such a cool technique that I had to try it again. Today I’m taking part in another theme for the Crumpet’s Nail Tarts 40 great nail art ideas challenge, and today’s theme was insects so I decided to go with butterfly wings!

Today I have another Born Pretty Store stamping plate review to share with you. As usual, I have done 2 different looks to show you what this plate can do. A schematic of the plate is shown below:

As you can see, this plate consists of two halves with continuous patterns, so you can choose any part of the pattern to stamp with or use different parts for each nail. I have done one look using each half. This is plate BP-L002.

The wood joining the watch face to the strap broke while I was wearing the watch. I was just sitting there, not doing anything to cause it to break. I am contacting JORD to see if they can help me with this issue.
Today I have a gorgeous watch and nail art to share with you. If you love this watch (or any of the others JORD makes!) be sure to scroll to the end of the post – you could win a gift code for $75 off one of their watches.
Today I have another nail art for the 40 Great Nail Art Ideas challenge with Crumpet’s Nail Tarts. I really enjoyed this nail art because I used a technique I have never used before… I actually coloured in my nails using colouring pencils!
