I’m still playing catchup for The Digital Dozen’s inspired by each other theme – and getting even further behind. I’ve already done my fourth look for this theme, and I think I’m going to let number 5 go this month – I have some exciting swatches and more nail art to share with you next week!
I’m running a bit behind with this week’s Digital Dozen posts – I’m going to a conference next week and I’ve had a really busy few days preparing for it. The good news is I think I’m ready for the conference, so now I’m going to be playing catchup with some nail art posts for you. For my second ‘inspired by each other’ look, I was inspired by this black and white dotticure done by Druid Nails. Simple but so striking and pretty!

I am so excited to share this post with you! A short while ago, Nadia of Moonflower Polish approached me and asked me if I could showcase a few of her polishes on my blog. Of course I leapt at the opportunity! Most polishes made by Moonflower are intended as stamping polish, so of course they are perfect for me with all of the nail art I do. In fact, just the other day I was thinking that I needed something fresh in my stamping repertoire and purchased a few new plates. These stamping polishes were perfect to add to that and I think you will like them too!
Today I have 5 brand new Moonflower polishes to share, the Vampy Cremes. These are releasing tomorrow morning, 23 February, at 9 am EST on the Moonflower Polish site. They are all dark creme bases with complementary colour shifting shimmers. They will be priced at $8 for a 15 ml bottle, or $38 for the set of 5. They are also available in mini bottles at $5 each or $23 for the set of 5. Do note that since these are highly pigmented, they may cause staining of nails, skin, or stampers; however I personally have not had any issues with staining while using these as stamping polishes.
I have tested each of these stamping polishes over both a light and a dark colour, so there are no less than 10 stamped looks to follow! It is a long, picture-heavy post, but worth it. Keep on scrolling to see how amazing each of the stamping polishes looks!
It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen does Mythical Creatures! Remember how I mentioned on Monday that dragons are always the first mythical creature that come to mind for me? Well, phoenix are rarely far behind. I love the whole concept of the phoenix, from its flaming body to its ability to resurrect. So today, I have done a phoenix-inspired drip marble.
It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen does Mythical Creatures! I am really loving what the other DD members have come up with so far – I’m looking forward to the rest of this week’s nail art! Yesterday, I started the theme off with some freehand dragon nail art. Today, I’ve gone for a far more delicate mythical creature – the fairy.
I have the start of something very exciting here on the blog today! This year, I’m going to be doing a monthly theme week here on the blog! Since my drip marbles have been really popular lately, I decided to start off with that. This week I’ll share no less than 4 fun drip marbles. In addition, tomorrow I’ll be sharing a video tutorial showing exactly how I create these fun drip marbles! This will be my very first video tutorial, so I’m really excited to share it with you and see what you think – be sure to subscribe to my Youtube channel so long!
It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is ‘All that Glitters’ and I decided to start the week off with both glittery polish and glittering crystals in my nail art. I’ve used some glittery polishes for stamping decals before, and they worked really well. I knew I had to do some glittery decals for this theme! I flipped through my stamping plates, and a pretty crystal image caught my eye – crystals glitter!
It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is Futuristic and I am so excited for it! I think this might be the first time I have actually finished all five looks ahead of time – I just had so many fun ideas for this theme! For the first one, I have done some nail art inspired by one of my favourite series – Star Trek.
