It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is paper. Although this isn’t my favourite theme ever, I’ve managed to come up with a few fun ideas and I’m certain we’ll be seeing some fantastic nail art from the rest of the group. For my first paper look, I decided to do some colouring book nail art.

I have a review of another Born Pretty Store stamping plate to bring you today – this time with roses and peacock feathers! As I mentioned in the previous posts I did about these plates, I got them in a set of 5 as they are more economical that way, but I still decided to show you each one individually so you could see more pretty nail art 🙂 Today I’m showing you the fifth and final plate from the set. If you missed the first four, I’ll link them here for you – there was a gemstone plate, lacy umbrella plate, dreamcatcher plate, and a floral plate. To my American readers, I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! Mine was delightful and I really got to share in the Thanksgiving spirit for the first time 🙂
I recently received a new review package from Born Pretty Store and I have plenty of new goodies to show you over the next few weeks! The first snow has come and gone here in Minnesota, so it’s a good time to start showing off some snowy manicures. One of the items I received from Born Pretty Store was this snow-themed stamping plate, plate L008.

The large square images are an unusual size and shape so on one hand, you can’t use the whole image on a single nail, but on the other hand, there are a few creative ways to use different portions of these images. The delicate designs of the upper row are also gorgeous – I’ll show you a look using two of those first. (more…)

Today I have a review of a Born Pretty Store stamping plate to share with you. Today I’m trying out plate BP-73. I picked this plate because I have really been craving florals lately and the plate is all about roses! I love the images and I couldn’t wait to try them. First I tried the roses with some sexy red:
