Rose Claw Nails

Painted Fingertips | Rose nail stamping

Hi everyone!

I was filing my nails the other day when I had the urge to try something different. I usually file my nails edges first, then tips, so there’s always a moment when I’m left with more of a pointed claw/almond shape – this time, I decided to shape all of my nails that way and do at least one nail art before deciding if I’d round them off to my usual oval shape. Ornate Brown Stamping

Painted Fingertips | Ornate brown stamping - Supermoon Fight Your Demons and Emily de Molly Long Road Trips

Hi everyone!

I have an ornate turquoise and brown stamped look to share with you today that I really loved. A couple of months ago, I picked up my very first Emily de Molly polish during March’s Polish Pickup. I was not disappointed! I love turquoise shades and this one was gorgeous with its tiny coppery flakes. I decided to play off those copper flakes with some brown stamping: (more…)

Hi everyone!

It’s day 2 of The Digital Dozen does white – and I have my least-white look of the week to share! At least, it’s probably my least white look; I haven’t finished the last one yet so we’ll see. Yesterday, I shared some cute fluffy sheep nail art. Today, I’ve once again gone with white subject matter in the form of white doves – although the nail art itself contains only a little of the colour white. I also wound up doing animals for the second time this week, which was fun. (more…)

Sheep Nails | The Digital Dozen Does White

Painted Fingertips | Sheep Nail Art - The Digital Dozen does White

Hi everyone!

It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is white. At first I didn’t like this theme at all – I was thinking that I’d have to do predominantly white, bridal-looking manicures all week. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but those types of looks just aren’t my usual style. Even for my own wedding, I wore turquoise nail polish! That made me dread the idea of an all-white week. That was until I had the idea to do nail art based on things that are white, rather than just making white the dominant colour. This meant that I could use plenty of colours, and I had fun coming up with things that are white! (more…)

Flakie Gemstone Stamping Decals

Painted Fingertips | Flakie gemstone nail art

Hi everyone!

I have some glittering, shimmering nail art to share with you today. I decided to use some flakie-packed polishes to create some shiny gemstone stamping decals. I don’t get enough use out of these flakie polishes, it was fun to use them all together in this look. (more…)

Moonflower Polish | Summer Neons

Hi everyone!

Summer is in full swing in the northern hemisphere, and with it, lots of bright neons! While I wear whatever polish I feel like in all seasons, there’s something summery about bright shades. Moonflower Polish has come out with a set of 8 bright shimmery neons that can be used for stamping or worn on their own. Today I have 4 of the 8 to share with you. This is a picture-heavy post since I have pictures of each polish on its own, over black and white, and stamped in a nail art look that shows one way I’d personally wear these, so get ready for lots of photos and enjoy 🙂 (more…)

Gold-Green Leaf Stamping

Painted Fingertips | Leafy stamping over gold-green multichrome powder

Hi everyone!

Do you remember the gold-green Born Pretty Store aurora nail pigment I shared not long ago? I really liked the shift this pigment has, so I decided to do some nail art using it. This powder also has a really cool effect over different colours – right now I’m wearing it on my toes over a neon pink, and it looks really cool! Over black, the gold-green shift made me think of autumn leaves, so I decided to add some leafy stamping. (more…)

Peace Sign Stamping

Painted Fingertips | Peace sign stamping over BEGL The Ancient Power

Hi everyone!

When I posted about Blue-Eyed Girl Lacquer The Ancient Power yesterday, I didn’t really feel like my pictures were doing this polish justice. Maybe it’s just me being overly critical after a really busy few weeks, but I wanted another chance to show you this beauty while it’s still available! I decided to add some quick stamping and show you how nicely The Ancient Power pairs with silver. (more…)

I’m finishing the week off with another Springy stamping decal look, this time featuring Supermoon Lacquer. (more…)
