Yesterday I promised you some nail art using by brand new Sally Hansen Sugar Coats and that’s what I have for you today! A simple but pretty dotted gradient.
Ta-daaa! Textured polishes are perfect for all sorts of nail art! I started off with 3 coats of Tip Top Nail Chic – Cream Puff and then used 3 different sized dotting tools to apply first Razzleberry and then Sour Apple from the Sally Hansen Sugar Coats. This is super simple nail art but I really like it on my nails!
As you may remember from my last post, I was very excited to find Sally Hansen Sugar Coats in Clicks a few days ago. I love textured nail polish so I couldn’t wait to test it out and I got swatching! There are 8 colours available: Cherry Drop, Razzleberry, Sugar Fix, Cotton Candies, Sour Apple, Bubble Plum, Lick-O-Rich, and Sweetie. I got the first 6 of those – the two I didn’t get are Lick-O-Rich, which is a black texture, and Sweetie, which is yellow. I decided I don’t need another matte black texture since I have Nails Inc’s Leather Effect one and although it’s textured in quite a different way, I doubt I’ll ever use them both up. I also steered clear of the yellow since yellow doesn’t suit my skin tone, but I’m sure some people like it 😉
All swatches shown below are two coats, and the colours were pretty consistent. They applied easily and the texture developed as they dried. The white had a slightly thinner formula but it still applied well and looked good after two coats. And here we go:
