Sheep Nails | The Digital Dozen Does White

Painted Fingertips | Sheep Nail Art - The Digital Dozen does White

Hi everyone!

It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is white. At first I didn’t like this theme at all – I was thinking that I’d have to do predominantly white, bridal-looking manicures all week. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, but those types of looks just aren’t my usual style. Even for my own wedding, I wore turquoise nail polish! That made me dread the idea of an all-white week. That was until I had the idea to do nail art based on things that are white, rather than just making white the dominant colour. This meant that I could use plenty of colours, and I had fun coming up with things that are white! (more…)

The Digital Dozen Does Stamping | Plate BeautyBigBang 10

Painted Fingertips | Flower stamping decals with plate BeautyBigBang10 - The Digital Dozen does Stamping

Hi everyone!

It’s Digital Dozen week! Can you believe it’s already time again? Thanks to the February week being a little later in the month than usual, this one came up so quickly! I have to say that I have had a crazy couple of weeks and didn’t get much chance to prepare for this week. On top of that, I’m sick with a miserable cold and don’t really feel like doing anything. All that considered, I’ve decided to combine my Digital Dozen posts this week with some stamping polish and plate reviews that I need to get posted. I don’t usually like to combine but I have to get these up anyway, and technically they are perfect for the theme. So, today’s Digital Dozen stamping post comes in the form of a review of Beauty Big Bang stamping plate 10. (more…)

Forest Green Drip Marble

Painted Fingertips | Forest green drip marble

Hi everyone!

You all enjoyed last week’s dark and mysterious drip marble so much – and I had so much fun creating it – that I decided to do another drip marble for today! Today, I decided to go with just different shades of green. I wanted to bring across a forest vibe. (more…)

Supermoon Lacquer | Ready to Launch Collection (Partial)

Painted Fingertips | Swatch - Supermoon Lacquer Ready to Launch

I purchased these products.

Hi everyone!

I have definitely mentioned a few times by now that The Howling Boutique’s Supermoon Lacquer is one of my favourite nail polish brands. Today I have swatches to share with you of 5 polishes from their original Ready to Launch collection, which came out over a year ago now. Although one of these shades has already been retired, the other four are still available and will be restocked later this week for the brand’s Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. In addition, all of these polishes will be 30% off for the sale! You can join the brand’s Facebook group for more details and announcements. For now, let’s take a look at the pretty polishes! Stamping Plate BP-L052 Review

Painted Fingertips | Silver stamping over blue-green gradient

Some items in this post were provided for review. This post contains affiliate links.

Hi everyone!

It has been so hot and humid the past couple of days here – something I never thought I’d be saying about Minnesota before I moved here! It looks like it might rain today so I’m hoping it’ll cool down just a little.

Today I have a review of another Born Pretty Store stamping plate, plate BP-L052, to share with you. Before I start showing you any of the nail art (and let me tell you right now that both looks I did are pretty great and you should at least look at this whole post!), a note about the plate itself. When I received this plate, several of the images were different than those shown on the site. Here is my photograph of the plate (excuse the reflections): (more…)
