Today I am sharing the fourth custom polish I had made to celebrate 5 years of Painted Fingertips. Make sure you enter to win a bottle of this polish as well as the 4 others I had made for this celebration!
Today I am sharing a gorgeous teal from Northern Star Polish, called Relaxation. (more…)
It’s the final day of The Digital Dozen does tropical! Digital Dozen weeks always just fly by. I’ve really enjoyed this theme; so far this week, I’ve shared pineapple nails, a tropical floral, a neon sunset, and a watermelon water marble. I decided to finish the look off with some flamingo nail art. Flamingos have been a really popular subject this week, I think about 4 or 5 of the other Digital Dozen ladies have already done flamingo looks. They really are perfect for the theme, and with their unique pink colour and interesting shapes they are ideal for nail art. (more…)

I can’t believe it’s already Monday! This weekend went by far too fast. There’s just not enough time to get everything done! I hope that you enjoyed my drip marble theme week last week, I had a lot of fun with it and now we are back to regular programming.
At least I can brighten this Monday a little with some swatches of a gorgeous polish. Today I am sharing my pictures of Fair Maiden Cosmic Confection, which is their contribution for February’s Polish Pickup. Polish Pickup has exploded onto the indie scene over the past few months with its creative way of offering polish and other products from a huge variety of makers, all in one store. Each month, makers create a polish inspired by a theme voted on by the group members. February’s theme is Sugar Rush. There are a lot of polishes available, so if you’re interested in seeing more, I recommend joining the Facebook Group! (more…)
I have definitely mentioned a few times by now that The Howling Boutique’s Supermoon Lacquer is one of my favourite nail polish brands. Today I have swatches to share with you of 5 polishes from their original Ready to Launch collection, which came out over a year ago now. Although one of these shades has already been retired, the other four are still available and will be restocked later this week for the brand’s Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. In addition, all of these polishes will be 30% off for the sale! You can join the brand’s Facebook group for more details and announcements. For now, let’s take a look at the pretty polishes! (more…)

I have a review of another Born Pretty Store stamping plate to share with you, plate BP-L063. This one is covered with cute animal images! There are some cats I know I’ll be using at some point, and monkeys, and elephants, and penguins – today I’ve gone with the dolphins and hedgehogs. (more…)

When I first moved to Minnesota I looked up which indie polish brands were local to Minnesota. I saw Northern Star Polish but to my disappointment, they were on hiatus at the time. I am happy to say that they’re back! They made their return a couple of months ago and have been participating in the monthly Polish Pickup initiative. I was over the moon when Kristin, the maker behind Northern Star, approached me about swatching this month’s polish. So, here is my first ever Northern Star polish – Shark Bite! (more…)
It’s Water Marble Wednesday! I hope you are still enjoying my Water Marble Wednesday series, I know I am! In fact, I’ve been enjoying marbling so much that I’m a couple of water marbles ahead of my blogging schedule – I had to pick and choose which one to post today! In the end, I decided on another neon water marble. I used a subset of the same polishes from last week’s marble, and went with a fun horizontal pattern. (more…)
I’ve had this Darling Diva polish for ages and I don’t know why I haven’t shared it with you yet! It is stunning – it’s about time I’m sharing it with you. This one is from Darling Diva’s second Deadpool collection. (more…)

Today I have a purple stamping polish to share with you – and I’m getting it in on a rare Tuesday post because I wanted to share one last review before the 31 Day Challenge starts. It’s starting this Thursday! I am NOT ready – either for the challenge or for September in general! If you’re interested in taking part in the challenge, check out the FAQ on Chalkboard nails and the daily inlinkz on More Nail Polish. Now, on to today’s two looks! (more…)
