Zoya Chita with Starry Stamping

Hi everyone!

Lately it’s seemed like we’ll be getting an early Spring, and then it’s only a matter of time until Summer. Once Summer comes, the long warm evenings will probably find you looking up at the stars before long! Hopefully they don’t look quite like the ones in the starry manicure I have to show you today, or something could be seriously wrong. This is an older manicure which I didn’t get around to posting for a while – here it is at last. Painted Fingertips | Zoya Chita with starry stamping (more…)

The Digital Dozen Does Black: Pink Crisscross

Hi everyone!

Can you believe it’s already day 4 of the Digital Dozen Does Black? This week is going by so fast! If you missed my previous posts this week, check out day 1, day 2, and my personal favourite day 3. Last night I finished off my final look for tomorrow’s DD does black post. I was showing it off to my husband when he commented that I’d done an awful lot of black manicures lately! Duh – it’s Digital Dozen black week! I had even asked him for some ideas for the last look the night before, so it’s not like he didn’t know about it 🙂

Today I decided to bring in some texture with the black and of course, you know by now that my favourite thing to use together with texture is tape. That meant I ended up creating a fun pink and black crisscross look. Painted Fingertips | Pink crisscross for the Digital Dozen Does Black (more…)

The Digital Dozen Does Decades – 2010s textured polish

Hi everyone!

It’s the fifth and final day of the Digital Dozen Does Decades! You might be wondering how I could do a nail art to represent a decade we are still in – well, today I am continuing yesterday’s nail art history lesson with the introduction of textured polish. The Digital Dozen Does December: Christmas Trees

Hi everyone!

Naturally, December brings Christmas! I’ve always loved Christmas and I have happy childhood memories of setting up the Christmas tree. When we first got a fake tree, we had far too many ornaments for the tiny tree but we insisted on squeezing them all on anyway – it probably looked ridiculous but we liked it and we’d sit around it in the evenings with all of the lights on 🙂Painted Fingertips | Textured Christmas Tree Nail Art

Review: Born Pretty Store Snow Stamping Plate L008 (two nail art looks!)

Some items in this post were provided for my honest review. This post contains affiliate links.

Hi everyone!

To my American readers, I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! Mine was delightful and I really got to share in the Thanksgiving spirit for the first time 🙂

I recently received a new review package from Born Pretty Store and I have plenty of new goodies to show you over the next few weeks! The first snow has come and gone here in Minnesota, so it’s a good time to start showing off some snowy manicures. One of the items I received from Born Pretty Store was this snow-themed stamping plate, plate L008.

Cocktail Stamping

Hi everyone!

I didn’t know what to call this post because I had so much going on in this nail art look, but since I stamped and I used the Rimmel Cocktail Colours polishes for it, it became cocktail stamping. That actually suits the look because it’s bright, colourful and sparkly… what more could you want?Painted Fingertips | Colour blotches and stamping
