Distressed and Stamped Nails

This post contains affiliate links.

Hi everyone!

Today I have one from the stash to share with you – I did these nails months ago but never got around to posting them. I didn’t quite love the nail art so it always seemed like there was something else to post first. I still think they’re fun, though, so I’m glad I’m finally getting around to sharing them with you! Zoya Chita with Starry Stamping

Hi everyone!

Lately it’s seemed like we’ll be getting an early Spring, and then it’s only a matter of time until Summer. Once Summer comes, the long warm evenings will probably find you looking up at the stars before long! Hopefully they don’t look quite like the ones in the starry manicure I have to show you today, or something could be seriously wrong. This is an older manicure which I didn’t get around to posting for a while – here it is at last. Painted Fingertips | Zoya Chita with starry stamping (more…)

Hi everyone!

I have two really gorgeous manicures to share with you today. I love both of these so much that I almost split them up into separate posts, but I want to show you different things that can be done with a fantastic stamping plate.

A few months ago, Born Pretty Store did a promotion to celebrate their birthday where anyone who shared their post would be sent one of three free celebration packets. Of course, I picked the nail stamping one. Painted Fingertips | Born Pretty Store free Christmas celebration box (more…)

The Digital Dozen Does Decades – 90s Grunge

Hi everyone!

It’s day 2 of the Digital Dozen Decades theme and today I’ve jumped ahead to the 90s. This was a time of rock music, leather, and too much eyeliner. I decided on a distressed look with a splash of colour and some stamping: Painted Fingertips | The Digital Dozen Does Decades - 90s Grunge

I recently received a new review package from Born Pretty Store and I have plenty of new goodies to show you over the next few weeks! The first snow has come and gone here in Minnesota, so it’s a good time to start showing off some snowy manicures. One of the items I received from Born Pretty Store was this snow-themed stamping plate, plate L008.

Nail art ideas for Weddings – Silver and Gold

Hi everyone!

As the old saying goes, for your wedding you always need something gold, something stamped, something patterned and something blue. Wait, am I remembering that right? It doesn’t matter – these nails incorporate all 4 of my version and we all know nails are what a wedding is all about.

Today’s theme in the Crumpet’s Nail Tarts challenge is weddings, obviously. I’ve never been much of a fan of most ‘traditional’ wedding nail looks – French manicures or soft pinks just aren’t my thing. In fact, for my own wedding, I wore sparkly teal nails with stamped swirls. It was important to me to do what I wanted rather than to conform to any norms – after all, it was my wedding day! With that in mind, I went with a bit of a compromise on these. I used a gold and silver base – pretty traditional wedding colours – but then went all out with stamping and ended up with wedding nails that are anything but traditional. Painted Fingertips | Gold and silver nails with ornate blue stamping - perfect for a wedding

HPB Presents: Snowmen at Christmas AND 40 great nail art ideas for Christmas!

Hi everyone!

I have a couple more pictures than usual today but I think you’ll agree, it’s worth it! Besides, today is my birthday and I can show you as many pictures as I want! That’s also how I’m getting away with using this one nail art for two different things – this is both for the Christmas theme in my Crumpets Nail Tarts collaborative challenge, AND for the holiday/winter theme being done by the Hobby Polish Bloggers group today. Maybe that’s why I had to make these nails so great 😉Painted Fingertips | A family of snowmen at Christmas
