I did this nail art a couple of weeks ago, when my nails were still nice and long. They’ve been breaking like crazy the last couple of weeks! I’ve been doing a ton of origami and I think working with paper so much has really been drying them out, despite oiling them and using hand cream on a daily basis. Anyway, let’s just enjoy today’s fun nail art. (more…)
First up, a warm welcome to my new blog! I’ve revamped the whole look and made it easier for you to navigate, comment and pin images – I hope you will enjoy it!
It’s Water Marble Wednesday and today I have combined a water marble with freehand art. Some days a marble just doesn’t go the way you wanted it to. It could be that the polishes don’t spread properly (in which case you should just choose different polishes!) or it could be that the colours just don’t look the way you were hoping they would. That’s what happened to me this time. I did a neon water marble a couple of weeks ago which worked amazingly and another one using only some of the colours which I loved as well. This time I tried to use a different selection of neons and it just didn’t work out. The marble constantly looked muddy and the colours were really pale.
At this stage I had two choices – throw in the towel or do something else with my marble. I chose the latter and I’m glad I did!
It’s Water Marble Wednesday and today I really have a good one for you! I have never tried a neon water marble before and I always thought the neon polishes might come out too sheer, but I finally decided to give it a go and I am SO glad I did. (more…)

It’s the third Tuesday of the month and that means a third Tri-Polish Challenge design! You can see the first two here and here. This month’s colours are pink, yellow and blue, and today I again went with a neon colour scheme and combined it with animal print! (more…)
Hi everyone! It’s day 6 of the Nail Art A Go-Go challenge hosted by Gnarly Gnails and today’s theme is neon. Now, I have a confession to make. Before I got into nail polish and nail art, I really didn’t like neon nail polish. I’m not sure why, but I just didn’t – and now I love it, of course 🙂(more…)
