Review: BP-L049 Born Pretty Store Stamping Plate

Hi everyone!

Can you believe it’s Monday already? That weekend went by in the blink of an eye! At least I have some fun nail art to share with you today. Today I am reviewing another Born Pretty Store stamping plate, plate BP-L049. I have actually already shared a manicure using one of the images from this plate, in my review of the pearl white stamping polish. Nothing on this plate was quite calling out to me to be used for decals or leadlighting, so instead I have two regular stamped looks to share with you today; I tried to be creative with the base and stamping colours instead.

It’s Water Marble Wednesday! And guess what – this is my 50th Water Marble Wednesday! Can you believe I’ve shared that many water marbles? Not to mention those that I posted not as a part of the series! Today I have an extra bright and colourful glitter rainbow marble to share with you.

Water Marble Wednesday: Alpha Lupi and Gamma Lupi

Hi everyone!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday! I missed last Wednesday because I was out of town at a conference and just couldn’t find the time to write up a post, but I’m back with a gloriously dark marble. A few weeks ago I decided to test out a few of my Supermoon polishes in a marble, and was pleasantly surprised to discover that they marbled perfectly. After that, when I recently purchased a few new Supermoons, a marble was the first thing I tried! Again, they worked to perfection!

The Digital Dozen Does Rainforests: Flowers

Hi everyone!

It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen does rainforests, and it’s also Water Marble Wednesday! I managed to combine both this time around to create a rainforest-themed marbled nail art. For this one, I went with some simple flowers growing in the rainforest, stamped over a colourful water marbled base.

Water Marble Wednesday: 3 Supermoons

Hi everyone!

It’s Water Marble Wednesday! It’s always fun to discover new polishes that marble. I’ve been meaning to use some of my Supermoon polishes from the I Am Cannibal collection in a water marble ever since I did this quick experiment with them a few weeks ago:Painted Fingertips | Water marble pattern (more…)

Review and Nail Art: Konifer Wood Watches

Some items in this post were provided for review.

Hi everyone!

I was recently approached by Konifer Wooden Watches to review one of their watches and share it with you. I liked some of the options I saw on the website, so I decided to give one a try. Aside from watches, you can also get sunglasses and even wooden rings on the site. Konifer is based in Canada and advertises a 5 year warranty on all watches. They also promise to plant a tree for every purchase made, which is great! Painted Fingertips | Konifer wooden watch (more…)

The Digital Dozen Does Get to Know Me: Gizmo-cat Water Marble!

Hi everyone!

It’s time for another installment of ‘get to know me’! If you were extra observant, you may have noticed that I didn’t post yesterday. As it happens, I’m having a particularly busy week in my ‘day job’ and I haven’t been able to finish all 5 looks for this week’s theme. I’ll probably be skipping another day as well. Let’s just call it a part of getting to know me!

I’ve dedicated today’s nail art to my beloved cat, Gizmo. Gizmo came into our lives a little over 2 years ago when my husband found him crying and hiding under my car, scared and hungry. He was still a baby, only about 2 and a half months old. Luckily, all he needed was some food and some love. He purred his way into our hearts and has stayed there ever since 🙂
