I have something different to share today! Aside from doing my nails, I also enjoy doing quick crafts and making my own decorations. In fact, I even folded hundreds of paper flowers for my wedding bouquet and decor. Over the holiday season, I felt like decorating at least a little and decided to make something. Since I live in Minnesota, where it’s cold and snowy this time of year, I decided to go with some paper snowflakes. What got me in the mood to do this (and I don’t mean the change of season), was that recently my friend did a complete overhaul of her home, she hated her wallpaper and then took a look around and realized she didn’t like any of the colors in her home, so she got to decorating. She got herself some delicate summer floral peel and stick wallpaper for her statement wall and then built her new color scheme around that, she loves summer so much and wanted to be reminded it of it constantly, but with me it actually got me thinking about embracing the cold and what better way to embrace it by making snowflakes, the staple of a winter wonderland! Hi everyone!
As you may have gathered from the post title, I have two nail art looks to share with you today using a gorgeous blue holo stamping polish from Born Pretty Store. I am definitely going to be needing some more holographic stamping polishes in my life! There are 4 more colours available in the same grouping from Born Pretty Store, and I’d like to try them all if they all stamp as well as this one! (more…)

Hi everyone!
It’s almost Christmas! It might already be Christmas where you are – Merry Christmas to you, if so! I didn’t get much chance to do Christmassy nail art this year, but I have a look today which is quick, easy, and perfect for the time of year. (more…)

Hi everyone!
To my American readers, I hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving! Mine was delightful and I really got to share in the Thanksgiving spirit for the first time 🙂
I recently received a new review package from Born Pretty Store and I have plenty of new goodies to show you over the next few weeks! The first snow has come and gone here in Minnesota, so it’s a good time to start showing off some snowy manicures. One of the items I received from Born Pretty Store was this snow-themed stamping plate, plate L008. (more…)
I have a couple more pictures than usual today but I think you’ll agree, it’s worth it! Besides, today is my birthday and I can show you as many pictures as I want! That’s also how I’m getting away with using this one nail art for two different things – this is both for the Christmas theme in my Crumpets Nail Tarts collaborative challenge, AND for the holiday/winter theme being done by the Hobby Polish Bloggers group today. Maybe that’s why I had to make these nails so great 😉 (more…)
Today I have another collaborative post with the other ladies from Crumpet’s Nail Tarts. Today’s theme is winter and for the first time for me, winter means snow. I’ve done plenty of snowy nail art before, it’s just the first time I’m experiencing it first-hand! I was inspired by the lovely trees I can see out of my window, becoming covered in snow. (more…)
Today I have another post for the 12 Days of Christmas Challenge hosted by the Facebook Group Challenge Your Nail Art. Today’s theme is snowmen – another wintery one even though it’s summer here! I couldn’t complain though because once I saw a lovely snowman scene by Instagram nail artist @MelissaRose0410 I couldn’t wait to try something similar! (more…)
