It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is Futuristic and I am so excited for it! I think this might be the first time I have actually finished all five looks ahead of time – I just had so many fun ideas for this theme! For the first one, I have done some nail art inspired by one of my favourite series – Star Trek.
It’s Water Marble Wednesday! And guess what – this is my 50th Water Marble Wednesday! Can you believe I’ve shared that many water marbles? Not to mention those that I posted not as a part of the series! Today I have an extra bright and colourful glitter rainbow marble to share with you.

I have a review of another Born Pretty Store stamping plate to bring you today – this time with roses and peacock feathers! As I mentioned in the previous posts I did about these plates, I got them in a set of 5 as they are more economical that way, but I still decided to show you each one individually so you could see more pretty nail art 🙂 Today I’m showing you the fifth and final plate from the set. If you missed the first four, I’ll link them here for you – there was a gemstone plate, lacy umbrella plate, dreamcatcher plate, and a floral plate. Now, on to today’s two looks starting off with some pretty peacock feathers. (more…)
This month’s Digital Dozen theme is Decades. I just got back from my lovely California vacation, so I haven’t had all that much time to think up ideas for the theme, but I’ll do the best I can! I originally had a 30s idea to start off with, but I didn’t like how it turned out so I have decided to start off with the bright and colourful 60s instead! And what better way to use the bright 60s colours than in a water marble?
Today I have a fun celebratory manicure to share with you. Each month, the Digital Dozen celebrates its members’ birthdays with some nail art. This month, the inspiration for the nail art was selected by our November birthday members Marisa of Polish Those Nails and Serene of Copycat Claws. This month’s inspiration picture reminded me of the effects created by the drip marble technique, so I decided to try one.
I’m back with some more Halloween nail art! Halloween is such a great holiday for nail art – plenty of inspiration for fun looks! I’m planning on having a few more before the end of the month as well 🙂
What would my first Digital Dozen week be without a water marble? It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen Vampy week and it’s Wednesday – the perfect time to combine my Digital Dozen beginnings with remembering my Water Marble Wednesday series!
Today’s theme for the 31 Day Challenge is ‘inspired by a flag’. This has never been a very popular theme of the challenge; to me it seems oddly specific compared to most of the other themes. The American flag is usually popular, firstly since so many bloggers are from the US and secondly because the vibrant colours and the stars and stripes both lend themselves to nail art. I’ve never gone in that direction before, until today!
