Moonflower Polish | Summer Neons

Hi everyone!

Summer is in full swing in the northern hemisphere, and with it, lots of bright neons! While I wear whatever polish I feel like in all seasons, there’s something summery about bright shades. Moonflower Polish has come out with a set of 8 bright shimmery neons that can be used for stamping or worn on their own. Today I have 4 of the 8 to share with you. This is a picture-heavy post since I have pictures of each polish on its own, over black and white, and stamped in a nail art look that shows one way I’d personally wear these, so get ready for lots of photos and enjoy 🙂 (more…)

The Digital Dozen’s Throwback Week: Dots and More Dots!

Painted Fingertips | Crazy dotted nails inspired by Beginnails

Hi everyone!

It’s the final day of The Digital Dozen’s Throwback week – I’ve made it! I’ve had a very busy week and I wasn’t sure I’d get this last post done on time, but it’s here, and I also really love today’s nail art! In case you’ve missed my other posts this week, I decided to interpret the Throwback theme by recreating past nail art looks done in Digital Dozen theme weeks by other Digital Dozen members. So far this week, I’ve done poison dart frog nails inspired by Manis & Makeovers, LOVE nails inspired by 25 Sweetpeas, a spacey water marble inspired by Copycat Claws, and dragon eye nails inspired by More Nail Polish. Although I’ve liked every one of those looks, today’s is my favourite for the week! (more…)

The Digital Dozen Does Decades: 60s Water Marble

Painted Fingertips | The Digital Dozen Does Decades - 60s

Hi everyone!

This month’s Digital Dozen theme is Decades. I just got back from my lovely California vacation, so I haven’t had all that much time to think up ideas for the theme, but I’ll do the best I can! I originally had a 30s idea to start off with, but I didn’t like how it turned out so I have decided to start off with the bright and colourful 60s instead! And what better way to use the bright 60s colours than in a water marble? (more…)
