It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is Inspired by Each Other. We were originally going to do something a bit different for the month of May, a rotation week where we’d each do a guest post on a different member’s blog each day of DD week, but sadly that didn’t work out, so inspired by each other it is. For my first look of the week, I’ve done an abstract floral inspired by this look by Marisa of Polish those Nails.

I am so excited to share this post with you! A short while ago, Nadia of Moonflower Polish approached me and asked me if I could showcase a few of her polishes on my blog. Of course I leapt at the opportunity! Most polishes made by Moonflower are intended as stamping polish, so of course they are perfect for me with all of the nail art I do. In fact, just the other day I was thinking that I needed something fresh in my stamping repertoire and purchased a few new plates. These stamping polishes were perfect to add to that and I think you will like them too!
Today I have 5 brand new Moonflower polishes to share, the Vampy Cremes. These are releasing tomorrow morning, 23 February, at 9 am EST on the Moonflower Polish site. They are all dark creme bases with complementary colour shifting shimmers. They will be priced at $8 for a 15 ml bottle, or $38 for the set of 5. They are also available in mini bottles at $5 each or $23 for the set of 5. Do note that since these are highly pigmented, they may cause staining of nails, skin, or stampers; however I personally have not had any issues with staining while using these as stamping polishes.
I have tested each of these stamping polishes over both a light and a dark colour, so there are no less than 10 stamped looks to follow! It is a long, picture-heavy post, but worth it. Keep on scrolling to see how amazing each of the stamping polishes looks!
I have something extra special to share with you today. Over the past several weeks, Sarah of 25 Sweetpeas has been putting together an amazing collaborative cookies and manicures project. 8 participants, including myself, have made some yummy cookies along with nail art to match!
Sarah worked really hard at this and made the most incredible downloadable including recipes for all 8 cookies along with their matching nail art looks! It’s a gorgeous mini magazine with perfect holiday cookie recipes – I hope you will check it out! You can download it by clicking this button:

It’s been ages since I’ve done a Water Marble Wednesday post! Honestly, I just happened to do a water marble, so why not share it on a Wednesday? 🙂
Ever since I got some new Zoyas a few months ago, I’ve been wanting to use them in water marbles. In fact, I already did my bright 60s water marble a couple of weeks ago with some of them. I couldn’t get the brown and the nude I’d bought out of my head though… wouldn’t these be perfect for some coffee-inspired marbling? (more…)
