It’s Digital Dozen week! The first Digital Dozen week of 2019, and this month the theme is Marble. I can bet we’ll be seeing plenty of gorgeous water marbles and drip marbles from everyone this week! I’ve decided to start the week off with a real marble stone look.
Back in September, I unfortunately missed Digital Dozen week. I really liked the theme, which was ‘recreating your first blog posts’, and I was so sorry that I wasn’t able to take part! I did have one look that was ready to go and so I am finally sharing it with you today. It’s a simple yet effective textured rose look.
It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen’s tropical week, and it’s also Water Marble Wednesday! So far this week, I’ve shared a tropical floral look and some pineapple nails. I stuck with the tropical fruits today with a watermelon water marble. I’m glad I figured out a way to do a water marble for the tropical theme, it’s always fun to figure out ways to make water marbles work for a specific theme. I’ve seen several other watermelon water marbles before but it’s the first time I’ve tried to do a watermelon. (more…)
Summer is in full swing in the northern hemisphere, and with it, lots of bright neons! While I wear whatever polish I feel like in all seasons, there’s something summery about bright shades. Moonflower Polish has come out with a set of 8 bright shimmery neons that can be used for stamping or worn on their own. Today I have 4 of the 8 to share with you. This is a picture-heavy post since I have pictures of each polish on its own, over black and white, and stamped in a nail art look that shows one way I’d personally wear these, so get ready for lots of photos and enjoy 🙂 (more…)
I’m still playing catchup for The Digital Dozen’s inspired by each other theme – and getting even further behind. I’ve already done my fourth look for this theme, and I think I’m going to let number 5 go this month – I have some exciting swatches and more nail art to share with you next week! (more…)
It’s Digital Dozen week! This week’s theme is Inspired by Each Other. We were originally going to do something a bit different for the month of May, a rotation week where we’d each do a guest post on a different member’s blog each day of DD week, but sadly that didn’t work out, so inspired by each other it is. For my first look of the week, I’ve done an abstract floral inspired by this look by Marisa of Polish those Nails. (more…)

I am so excited to share this post with you! A short while ago, Nadia of Moonflower Polish approached me and asked me if I could showcase a few of her polishes on my blog. Of course I leapt at the opportunity! Most polishes made by Moonflower are intended as stamping polish, so of course they are perfect for me with all of the nail art I do. In fact, just the other day I was thinking that I needed something fresh in my stamping repertoire and purchased a few new plates. These stamping polishes were perfect to add to that and I think you will like them too!
Today I have 5 brand new Moonflower polishes to share, the Vampy Cremes. These are releasing tomorrow morning, 23 February, at 9 am EST on the Moonflower Polish site. They are all dark creme bases with complementary colour shifting shimmers. They will be priced at $8 for a 15 ml bottle, or $38 for the set of 5. They are also available in mini bottles at $5 each or $23 for the set of 5. Do note that since these are highly pigmented, they may cause staining of nails, skin, or stampers; however I personally have not had any issues with staining while using these as stamping polishes.
I have tested each of these stamping polishes over both a light and a dark colour, so there are no less than 10 stamped looks to follow! It is a long, picture-heavy post, but worth it. Keep on scrolling to see how amazing each of the stamping polishes looks! (more…)
It’s day 3 of the Digital Dozen does Mythical Creatures! Remember how I mentioned on Monday that dragons are always the first mythical creature that come to mind for me? Well, phoenix are rarely far behind. I love the whole concept of the phoenix, from its flaming body to its ability to resurrect. So today, I have done a phoenix-inspired drip marble. (more…)
